Nicole and Matson & Gilman organized a 3 day trip through Bourbon Country for our group of 4. It was an amazing experience: an early morning cocktail class, several bespoke experiences, a great variety of distillery tours, a tour of a cooperage and a chef-made brunch just for us. Every detail was planned perfectly. Nicole was also an excellent tour guide - we so enjoyed spending the weekend with her and we learned so much about bourbon. Thanks to Matson & Gilman and to Nicole!

I can't say enough about this awesome company. We were looking for a unique experience for some Bourbon curious gents from the East Coast, and one of our five found out about Matson and Gilman. They planned an unbelievable experience for us that could not have been better. Nicole was an amazing host, everything was first class, and we felt like we got an experience far beyond the other other "tourists" discovering the bourbon trail. Everything was planned perfectly, every distillery a special experience (7 in two days!) and all the extras made for a trip we will remember for a long time. Thanks Matson & Gilman for an amazing trip! What can I say about these two bourbon mavens? They listen! They combined our ridiculous requests with their unique contacts and created a "bourbon trip of a lifetime". If you are looking for the generic minivan trip to public distillery tours and tastings, I would say - look somewhere else. If you are looking for unique, bespoke, full service, curated experiences - give these ladies a call.
