I live in Florida, but currently on a business trip to the beautiful city of Louisville, Kentucky. I was able to convince some colleagues to come to PBR Cowboy Bar. I love the music, the mechanical bull is awesome, the vibe is just awesome and they play country music, so that's a win for me. Chris was my waitress, and she was simply fantastic. A smile goes a long way. Hopefully the next time I'm here, Chris will be my waitress again, she's truly a great young woman. Friendly cheerful and great to talk to. When you're visiting a new city for the first time, I can't stress how much a friendly person can make all the difference in the world. I would definitely go back to PBR, because I like the music, the drinks are great, the mechanical bull was awesome, and Chris my waitress was perfect.

This was a fun bar for people watching. It's pretty big and is country themed. They also have a mechanical bull, which was awesome to watch. There are no seats around the bar, but plenty of counter space to stand with your drink. Service was fast and friendly. I don't think they served food, but there are plenty of options nearby.

The staff were very welcoming and were prompt to take drink orders. It was very entertaining to watch the brave bull riders. The bar is clean and the decor is very nice.

I will preface this review with the fact that I went on NYE. So that may have been part of the issue. The music was okay, definitely not top notch. Lots of weird remixes and the songs didn't mesh well. The drinks were awful. We paid for the platinum package and still couldn't get decent drinks. Unless you want Jim beam and watered down coke in a tiny little cup. No actual mixed drinks like martinis, real margaritas, etc. they could probably do a screwdriver or a tequila sunrise but otherwise you're SOL - grab a crappy beer and go walk on the sticky floor. We also stood at the bar for a good 10 minutes while the bartender took literally everyone else's order to include new patrons that walked up. Had we not had the platinum package; it would've been $20 admission. Crazy for a sub par bar. I guess the mechanical bull was cool but honestly not worth a $20 cover charge by any means. Maybe this just isn't my style of bar or maybe it was NYE issues haha.

The hospitality at the front entrance was not the greatest. The young lady at the entrance, charging for the entrance fee, attempted to place a high tip on my entrance fee (because I was paying with a card). When I changed it to the original entry fee price, she was very rude and demanding. It was my first time at this space, & first impression are everything. she was not welcoming at all let alone attempting to steal additional funds from me without asking. Contrary to, the ladies at the bar were amazing and very pleasant! I had no problem giving them extra tips bc it was worth the service.
