Public transport is the backbone of any major city. We NEED Tarc. However, the grants and money need to go to MORE routes, not less. I say this as Tarc cuts, and condensed, quite a few routes. The buses tend to run late, without any real-time data for the rider, most of the time. The drivers are not friendly, respectful, or helpful. The buses are not cleaned daily either. No city has seemed to master friendly, punctual, clean mass transit- we are no different. ​

This is BS.... The whole committee should do something about the Tarc situation, these drivers need to learn to stay focused to all the bus stops that people are on, especially at night, They are more likely to pass us up and not pay attention. I don't know if they know there are bus stops available or just not want to pick up customers. Some bus stops do have lighted entry and some do not, they need to have more street lights available for all bus stops so bus drivers can see at night. And Bus drivers need to start paying more attention to the people that are on the bus stops, not doing their own thing. Something needs to be done.

I was trying to take a 31 bus like i usually do, and the driver wouldn't let me to get on because i had an electric skateboard!!!! CRAZY. I had to take Uber , if not for that id miss showing up at my job!!!

If you have the option to take other means of transportation then do it. I understand this is a city bus station but they love to leave people stranded. When you call they just say you should have checked the website. No you should find someone to run the routes till there end times. Because of them people have gotten stranded and lost jobs. Do they care? Not one bit. They only care about them selfs. If you are from out of town take a Lyft, Uber or taxi because your putting yourself at risk

Visited their offices on Broadway this week. Friendly helpful staff. Busses and transportation are for everyone, and I appreciate their vision. Beautiful historic old train stop for their offices. #wemovethecity I hope to ride the free downtown stops soon.

there is a bus that goes to GE appliances in the morning that arrives at 5:50 AM. The shift starts at 5:54 AM and there is a couple of minutes to get all the way to the building. Tart needs to send the bus here earlier in the mornings to get people here on time if they have a contract with GE appliances.

If you are a TARC rider, yay! If you have never been on the TARC, give it a try! If you have never been on public transit...shame...shame... I love public transits. I take them whenever I have a chance. TARC's vehicle conditions are about the same as the many other public transits I have taken: Cinti, Chicago, LA, NYC, Seattle, DC, Baltimore...etc. The passengers are generally the same, too. They range from tired commuters to curious tourists. Almost everyone I met on the bus have been very courteous or they just keep to themselves. No one has ever bothered me. I particularly like the new LouLift *free* electric Rt #1 Bus. It is not only free to ride; it also has free wifi!! What more could we ask for? You can take this from downtown all the way to Churchill Downs! On the way, you could stop by the Speed Art Museum, U of L campus, the Filson Historical Socieity...the possibilities are endless. Of course I do wish the runs are more frequent and more timely, but hey, this is a leisure route. Relax, you don't have to fight the ever-present construction downtown. Take in the view and enjoy the wifi!

tarc fails to appear for scheduled routes at least twice per month without any advance notification in their transit app. a family member is now facing potential job loss due to being late as a consequence of tarc's repeated service failures.

I've seen impatient drivers yelling and abusing handicapped Seniors just for moving too slowly. Just stop it.

tarc has employees that do not care about serving their community. I have been riding the bus for a year now and have had the worst experience. If I could not ride I wouldn't. It gets me from point a to point be but everyday it seems to be an issue.
