Popped into The Shpp this afternoon for a quick drink and sando. We sampled a few light beers given it was stinking hot outside. The bartender gave some solid recommendations and noted that everything available is either local or from nearby, adjacent parts of Kentucky or other states like Ohio. The place is fairy spartan, with a nice long bar, a few fridges and shelves of local brews, bourbons, etc., and several tables for lounging. It's feels very clean, hip, and classy - a good spot for a quiet drink of a rare local or craft brew. I tried the pimento cheese sandwich, which was pretty basic but yummy nonetheless.

Cozy low key vibes with friendly staff. They have Cocktails & Wine!!! I got a flight, since there were a few beers I wanted to try. The bartender took our order & got my flight started. The pours were perfection! I tired the Lavender Pitch Watermelon Wheat-delicious crips perfect for summer, the Garage Beer Lime- the splash of lime gives this lager a refreshing smooth finish & paired great with the sour. The Watermelon crack- definitely not sweet but not sour enough either to turn up your nose just a smack to keep you guessing. The Barrel aged sticky toffee pudding- too sweet/much for me.. I probably needed a palate cleanser in between the beers. The Shop was a great spot of us to chill & stop at on our way to dinner. 10/10 recommend if you're into craft beer & low key vibes. Even if you're into cocktails & wine they got you covered. Just a chill place.

Come hang out here! They've only been open a few months and they source local (and regional) beer, local goods, local art! I'd start here and then grab Red Hog a few doors down for dinner, maybe check out the local book shop and art on The Avenue. The bar is comfy, you can get flights, or grab a beer and go sit with your party on the comfy couches around back. This is an unexpectedly fun stop, highly recommend.

Friendly and inviting every visit! They always have a good and varied selection of beer on tap, and they always have a good selection of bottled beer and cans to purchase. They also have mixed drinks and snacks. Laid back and fun atmosphere, always a good time.

Very friendly staff when we came in on a Friday night. Flights are $10 and they had a wide assortment of beer on tap. They also had a variety of beer you could buy and take home.

This place is a dog-friendly craft beer shop on Frankfort Avenue. It's sort of like "Cheers" with dogs. YES - you can bring your dog inside! They have a rotating supply of craft brews on-tap and it's fun to order a flight and sample various ones or you can grab a six-pack to go. They also have wine and mocktails. You should definitely stop by and give Aaron, Lindsay, Amanda, Lemon, and Archer (head of security and a very good boi) a warm welcome to the neighborhood! There is parking in the back as well as on the street.
