Casual restaurant in Downtown [New Albany IN] Dined at this restaurant by recommendation. Less than a mile from our hotel we came midday in between lunch and dinner so the place was pretty much empty with just a few other patrons. We could sit wherever so we chose a booth at the corner. This was an Americana style restaurant with classic steak, pork, chicken, and vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices. We placed our order for... BLACKENED SALMON - tender and seared. For an additional $1 I asked for bourbon glaze to be spread on my salmon. It was served on a bed of wild rice. The bourbon glaze was definitely a game-changer... the combination of sweet, smoky, and tangy flavors created a yummy flavor. CAJUN PORK CHOPS: not one but two thick cut pork chops brined & seared. Topped with Cajun butter. Husband shared a few bites with me and it had me craving for more. I just helped him finish his pork chops a little bit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Service was friendly but it can sometimes lack attention. A friend and I visited for the first time and have NO complaints. Jordan was our very cordial and informative server. You can tell she is a seasoned server, being very attentive to our needs. We ate outside on the upper deck as it was perfect weather. The huge 100 year old tree provided shade and there was a slight breeze. I ordered Chicken with side of broccoli and my friend ordered chicken Florentine with broccoli. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Broccoli was perfectly cooked also with great color and texture. For our Veteran friends, be glad for the discount. I look forward to visiting again. Eating outside was nice.

My fiancée and I shared their Cajun Pork Chops (2). They were thick and delicious. We also shared loaded cheese fries as the side that came with the meal. The loaded fries rivaled those of Outback. They came with a spicy ranch sauce that was very good. We ordered a side salad as an extra side, also good, and both of us were full from the one meal. However, they have a creamery next door. Can't pass that up, right?! It's known for it's outrageous (coma inducing) shakes. We opted to stay conscious and got single cones that were laying over the side of the cones! The service was great!!! All together it cost around $34.00. A bargain!

I didn't love this place. I thought the food was a bit overpriced for the portion size. It was pretty bland and the green beans were canned. Kids Mac was not great. They wouldn't eat it. The service was decent.
