Updating since it's been a few years since my first review. First, come for the beer. They have lots of interesting options and are constantly making new small batches of different things. As a huge sour fan, I always try the latest sour, but they have things for everyone (including hard seltzer and hard tea!). Second, the food is usually good, not great, but good. That said, the quality isn't always consistent. If something is really bad, do speak up. The runny tacos, for us, isn't worth complaining about, but it is a thing. The freshness of the ingredients is worth bringing up. Plenty of parking, live music, high and low top tables... It's become our go to when we don't know where else to go place along with a certain sushi place. PS - they have brunch options on the weekends!

Your chief that would approve of these un cook wings to leave the kitchen I ordered some wings to go. I work in louisville and drove to New Albany to purchase these wings for lunch and all I can say is I dont taste the sauce nor is the chicken done.

Stopped to check this location out and get some fish tacos. At first entering there were a nice sized group of people mostly drinking. Service was a tad slow; but finally got a beverage order in. We ordered a peach mead and a Quarantine Coffee Stout. Both of which were good. Ordering food was a bit daunting; you order food and it comes with sides but if you don't want sides they take it off and round out to nearest dollar, so we ordered "Fistful of Tacos" and it says choose a choice of 2 flavors but 1 of the flavors has a $1.87 up charge they round up to $2. But it not necessarily explained that; in fact the whole process is a tad untypical for a restaurant; more of an ala carte type; I asked the bartender about it and then he explained it; I said it really was explained that well and well now you know. His delivery wasn't what I expected from a server to a patron and it's a tad pricey. 2 beers each and an entree without any sides $57 w/o tip. Feels very overpriced tacos and small! I usually don't try to focus on the negative of a business but this location needs to polish their customer skills. So happy for them and their success; but we most likely won't be a repeat customer. You live and learn.

I really want to support this restaurant but they are making it really hard. Your cooks do not know the recipes. I could have ate better at Taco Bell and paid half the price. Service was good, the A/C was out but I was OK with that. Nothing came out according to the menu. I have to blame management!

I never ever give 1 star reviews, but please don't go here. They served us brown sour guacamole. I'm still in shock that they thought that was ok. And from the reviews I now see we're not the only ones.

Fun place to stop off for some tacos, sliders, and beer. They carry a few beers of their own as well as beers from other local breweries and the big brand names. We had a nice server and a nice lady delivered our sliders. I love anywhere that you can order a flight of beer so that you can experience multiple offerings without getting full. This place is like a two-in-one where you will find one side functioning more as a brew pup and the other as a taco restaurant. Fun way to have both. Their beer was pretty good, not something I would seek out to be honest, and their sliders were good. Again, not something I would seek out. The place was clean and the people were nice. Glad I went!

Went here for Louisville Taco Week. Had the good, bad and ugly tacos along with an order of corn fritters. All were delicious, will go back. Service was average. You must get the blueberry lavender lemonade, it's made here and it's outstanding!!

The beer is good the food is interesting but in a good way. The music is always banging. The bartenders always take great care of the customers.

Update to previous review: If it were possible I'd give a negative 5 review! One week after dining at FOA, my credit card still hasn't been credited with the amount we were overcharged. Please keep in mind I DO have a digital receipt for the refund. I also have a digital receipt for the corrected charges. For a few days after we dined, both transactions mentioned above showed pending when I checked my account on line. In the last couple days both transactions disappeared, however the overcharge transaction remained charged to my account. Last Friday I contacted Dereck, the owner of FOA, whom I was told to email by a employee when I called. I never received a reply from Dereck. Today I called my credit card company's customer service and was told all transactions had been canceled other than the original charge. Wow! So I have digital receipts issued by FOA for all transactions stated above and best I can surmise is FOA made the decision to ignore receipts issued by them other than the overcharge. Beware when using a credit card at this establishment.
