My parents live in PRP and frequent this spot often. We went today with a large group to celebrate mom's birthday. "Lottie" was our amazing server, taking fantastic care of us with chips, salsa, drinks, and accurate orders. My son's burger and fries was a hit - I have a feeling someone else may order it next time. I got the 3 ala carte soft tacos with chicken. Delicious! Lettuce and cheese on top and plenty of chicken. There are a lot of El Nopal locations; however, they aren't all created the same, especially with service. Each time we've visited with family it's been consistently good food and service. Plenty of parking and close to the expressway.

Dinner for 2 tonight. No waiting and plenty of seating. Service was prompt and friendly. Chips came right out and hot and fresh . We had both hot and mild sauces. My wife had the Monica's platter and I had the burritos supreme. We hated a bit of both. The shrimp and chicken on the Monica's were grilled nicely and plentiful. We recommend it. The burritos were a combination of beef and been and a shredded chicken, both covered with shredded lettuce, sour crème and topped with a tomato slice.

First time going to this location. Went with my mom since there were discounted coupons for this location only that came in the mail. This El Nopal is located just off the Watterson Expressway where the old Bob Evans used to be. We dined in on this visit and got a booth on the other end of the place. We got prompt service along with some chips with regular and spicy salsa. Our food came out rather quick. I got a combo #1 w/ 2 enchiladas, 1 taco and beans, my mom got a similar combo. Food was good and fresh, reasonably portioned. We also got margaritas. I got a Raspberry margarita and my mom got a regular lime margarita on the rocks. My Raspberry margarita tasted awesome and would have probably got a whole pitcher of it but, didn't. We had an awesome visit being our first time at this location. Prompt and attentive service along with good fresh food we will be back. We still have coupons to use.

This is always a great Mexican food experience. I really love the atmosphere and the service is fast. They offer big 36 ounce beers for cheap price as well. I usually get the combination number 11, which is one burrito, one taco, and one enchilada. It is so good for $8.99. With all that food and free chips and salsa this is an excellent deal. My whole family loves it here and we will be back soon. OLE!

I've come to this location a couple times now, and I still can't seem to love it. Something about this place that just always has something wrong, either the food isn't great or the service is terrible. The food was just mediocre this time and lacks spices. I can't help but compare the food options to authentic Mexican places and this is what my review reflects. Please make your food more delicious, this is most likely the last time I'll be here.

Decided to come here for dinner. New restaurant location and we'd been waiting for a chance to come here. There wasn't a wait, we came in and were seated promptly. It has a great layout with plenty of seating. I just ordered a water. Our waitress was nice and informative, minus the point when my wife was asking for a small side of the queso, I'm not sure she understood what was being asked and was trying to give us a $5 order of queso lol. I ended up ordering the steak fajita nachos... A-MAZING!!! Only thing I wish they had done was added more chips lol. There's plenty of steak and cheese and onions with green peppers. Overall the food was amazing, a little pricey but still good food! Will likely visit again!

What a welcomed surprise to find good authentic Mexican food in Kentucky! The service was professional, prompt and friendly. We were greeted warmly, escorted to our table and did not wait long for our meal despite the good-sized Friday night crowd. The salsa served with the chips was spicy and flavorful. The flavors were more Californio than Tejano...flautas were made with flour tortillas (they were plump and tasty). portions were generous without being excessive, even for a combination dinner plate ordered from a budget menu. Multiple media screens flashed football matches, horse races and tennis games, while contemporary Mexican music that did not force us to scream our conversation serenaded us from the sound system. The decor looked authentic, well cared for and clean. ¡Bien hecho, y buen provecho!
