Believe the hype.  This is the best pizza you will ever have. No joke. The sauce is fantastic. The dough is good. And the cheese tastes perfect in the mix. When they cut up fresh basil on top, oh boy.  I really enjoyed both the regular and Sicilian.  The pepperoni was delicious also. Plan to wait unless you get there when they open. But trust me, it is worth it

I first visited Di Fara over a decade ago. It left such a lasting impression in my mind and I’ve been wanting to come back to try it again. I finally had the chance to have another slice recently and didn’t have to wait as long in line as the first time. The pizza still tastes amazing. It’s one of the most satisfying slices you can try. The service is also really friendly and pretty efficient as well. I won’t be waiting as long to revisit the next time.

This pie did not disappoint. Greeted right when we entered the shop and asked if we had any questions. Easy access to the menu through a QR code.  We went with a traditional cheese pie and were quoted 20 minutes as it’s a fresh made to order pie and had a moderate amount of orders ahead of us. Pie was ready as quoted and man oh man did it deliver a flavor bomb upon the first bite. It didn’t burn my mouth but was definitely hot and delicious. The crust was absolute perfection. Not too chewy! Flaky and light yet didn’t fold over when picked up! Sauce was simple and balanced out by the cheese blend and touch of oil. Nice fresh basil trimmed on top before boxing was a flavorful addition  as well. I didn’t want that first piece to end. Could not recommend more!

Delicious pizza. You can tell the dough is freshly homemade by its soft, lightly salty, crunchy crisp taste. The fresh basil adds a high end touch to a regular nyc street sauce of pizza. Been coming here for 40+ years and will keep coming.
