Frankel’s is a great, modern retro Jewish deli. The pastrami is outstanding: unctuous, tender, great spice rub and an ample portion. We loved the Reuben along with cole slaw and horseradish beets! The service is efficient and the place is charming. There are maybe 8 counter seats along the windows and lots of takeout delivery people arriving.

Frankel’s Fifty Dollar Flop for Two™️

Hot pastrami and a classic salmon nova lox bagel sandwich… both severely devoid of flavor. The design and customer experience inside the store was delicious I just wish the food matched. Love the tote bag and all of the merch available here.

Regrettably we had to go home to season and spice up the food so it had some semblance of flavor. Not writing them off completely, but the price tag and reviews made me expect more from this prime location.

Lucky for us we got a hotel right down the road from Frankel’s Deli. This was on my list for must visit deli while in Brooklyn. It didn’t disappoint. We got the Frankel’s #1 Bagel Pastrami salmon,scallion cream cheese & dill cucumber salad on an everything Bagel, toasted. Simple but absolutely delicious. The service was spot on. Couldn’t ask for a better start to our visit to NY.

Top tier open-faced bagels. Frankel’s is now one of my top three favorite bagel spots in NYC. I wish I lived closer to Greenpoint, but I’m willing to make the trek for these bagels.

I don’t normally splurge on a lox bagel, but this one is worth every penny of it. Salmon tartare on bagel is a game changer and I’m still dreaming about it.

You can choose your own cream cheese for this bagel sandwich. I find dill cream cheese usually goes well with salmon and I highly recommend this combo.

Heirloom tomato really makes all the difference — the sliced tomato is incredibly juicy and sweet. It comes with scallion cream cheese and herbs. Very fragrant and flavorful.

My bf gave his highest praise on this lunch sandwich. They really don’t skimp on the braised brisket — the sandwich is so hefty and thick! Meat is juicy and you can drizzle hot sauce for an extra kick of heat. The challah is well toasted and buttery.

Best bagel sandwich spot in the neighborhood. The taylor ham egg and cheese has a special goey place in my heart whenever i am struggle bussing on a saturday or sunday morning.

Its always busy because they are awesome so if you cant wait order ahead while you walk through the park, and dont go to late because they still sell out of everything sometimes.
