Incredible Thai food! The curry was out of this world. The garden was shaded, so even though it was very sunny and warm, the space was the perfect temperature. Can’t recommend enough.

As an afficionado of Thai cuisine, I must say I am impressed by the very authentic tastes of the servings. The test was the khao soi which passed musters. Other dishes were as appetising. Recommended.

We were in Red Hook for some errands on a busy Sunday afternoon and found Goog Thai after making our way up and down the street. The restaurant itself is very cute and charming and, as I later found out, is a reboot of a former Thai restaurant complete with a new menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming and offered us a choice of sitting inside or in the back patio which looked very lush with plants and umbrella covered seating! It looked like such a cute place to get drinks with a group.

We sat inside and the waiter suggested a few cocktails to us which were so tasty (I recommend Bo Bae for all fans of pandan flavor!) We ordered the watermelon salad by recommendation too and it was the best appetizer for a hot day. The food was delicious; all the ingredients were fresh and well seasoned and not too spicy! There was a pleasant spiciness in the sauces that we could adjust to our liking! The dessert was so cute too.

I think a lot of the reviews compare the new menu to the previous restaurant but I definitely recommend you give this place a try with an open mind and pick some different menu items than what you normally would go for! And if in doubt I’m sure the staff could recommend some great options for you like they did for us!

Outstanding food quality! Limited option of veggie/vegan dishes but they are absolutely tasty and fresh. Went to eat there a couple of times during my stay in Red Hook. Service was great and friendly and the Ambiente is cozy and modern in one. Good outdoor seating in the back yard. Will certainly be back next month!

What a great Thai restaurant which my friend highly recommended in Red Hook, Brooklyn

The food tasted flavorful and savory. We gad a lot of food for dinner and we enjoyed it so much

The severs, Adam and Pui, were attentive, friendly and caring of our table professionally
