I visited Jane’s Carousel over the weekend and had such a great experience! It truly is a gem! The staff member (I wish I knew his name!) was very friendly and made me feel so welcome. His friendliness really added to my experience during my first-ever visit. I visited on a Sunday morning, and there wasn’t a wait at all to get on the carousel. The views from the carousel are amazing and definitely worth seeing! I recommend Jane’s Carousel and look forward to visiting again soon!

This carousel is a precious thing for Brooklyn and not only. We use to come here every time we are visiting the city. It is an unique place for children and not only 😉 don’t miss it, it is one of the best experience for kids

A Must-Visit: Jane's Carousel and DUMBO in Brooklyn

Jane's Carousel, also known as the DUMBO Carousel, is a must-see for anyone visiting New York for the first time. A walk through Brooklyn, especially at sunset, is essential. I highly recommend heading to DUMBO to capture the iconic shot where the Manhattan Bridge perfectly frames the Empire State Building—a photo every visitor should take. Although we were a bit unlucky with some construction work on the right-side building, it didn’t detract from the experience.

Afterward, head to the pier and explore Time Out Market, which is more like a food hall with a variety of restaurants and a fantastic rooftop bar. The cocktails, typical of New York, are on the pricier side ($19-25), but they are well-crafted and satisfying.

The carousel ride costs $4 per person, and I suggest buying the 10-ticket pack, which comes with cute designs that make for a nice keepsake. From here, you can enjoy a stunning sunset view over the city. This is an experience not to be missed when visiting New York!
