Went for my birthday and as probably the most hyped up restaurant in greenpoint, it did not disappoint. Our Server (Paco) was the best of the best, our food was to die for, the special, tempura tacos, stole the show, but the lamb tacos were a close second. Drinks were nothing to lose your mind over but very solid. Desert wasn’t insane but full of flavor. all in all, this place was phenomenal, they also have a $20 take out burrito I’m very excited to try.

Just visited this restaurant without knowing it had a Michelin one-star rating, but the moment I walked in, I fell in love with the cozy atmosphere and comfortable seating. We sat at the counter by the kitchen, which allowed me to fully enjoy watching the chefs in action—an experience I always appreciate when dining out.

I highly recommend trying the Caesar salad. While it was slightly too saucy for my taste, the roasted flavors were unique and delicious. As for the chicken, I noticed a lot of reviews mentioned how juicy it is. From my seat near the kitchen, I saw the chicken sitting on the grill top for a while, but to my surprise, it was tender when I tried it (not juicy tho)The sauce had a distinctive, slightly bitter flavor that paired well with the rice it came with.

The guava margarita is a must-try—it was fantastic! However, I found the guacamole just okay. Overall, the service was excellent, and the restaurant’s ambiance is warm and inviting. I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5 and am excited to return to explore more of the menu.

The place is amazing. Me and my girlfriend celebrated here our anniversary and it was sublime. The food is amazing. Our favorite is the swordfish tacos. Cocktail very tasty. You need to try this.

We’ve been doing NYE here since 2020 (when we ordered in!). It’s always a fun, nice atmosphere with new, interesting and delicious menu items. The staff this year was especially wonderful. We look forward to more dinners here in the future!

We had such a great experience at Oxomoco. We had the lamb Barbacoa, the steak tacos, a tuna, tartare, and several other apps and snacks. The food brought multiple people at the table to tears. The tortillas were amazing perfect texture. Great service, great atmosphere, and great way to spend the afternoon.

Denna topprankade restaurang är svår att komma in, så med stora förväntningar fick vi en 17:00 bokning

Vi anlände till vår bokning tid rätt på pricken och fick veta att ingen tabell var tillgänglig. Sa åt mig att vänta utanför medan det regnade. Hovmästaren saknade grundläggande artighet. 

Efter att ha väntat i 15 minuter, närmade vi oss hovmästare igen och fick veta att chefen var medveten men vi var bara tvungna att vänta. När vi talade med chefen, fick vi veta att eftersom hon inte kunde kontrollera hur snabbt människor åt, vi var bara tvungna att acceptera en ospecifik väntetid efter vår bokning. 

När jag till slut satte mig, stod bordet precis under en läcka i taket och fläkten blåste vattnet från taket rakt i ansiktet på mig. Uppmärksammade servitrisen och fick veta att det inte fanns något hon kunde göra och fick henne att känna att hon inte kunde ha brytt sig mindre. 

Pratade med chefen igen och chefen kunde inte heller bry sig mindre.

Utmärkt utrymme, greated varmt. Bra servicepersonal uppmärksam och engagerande. Maten var så god, härlig blandning av smaker, oväntade och läckra. Fantastiska drinkar också. Tack till alla för vår bästa måltid i NY.

På en foodie resa till New York min man och jag ville inkludera några mexikanska och denna restaurang fortsatte att dyka upp i alla våra sökningar. Även om det var lite av en vandring, bestämde vi oss för att riskera det. Och vi är så glada att vi gjorde det. Härlig atmosfär, härlig personal, bra dryck urval. Och maten var utsökt - färsk, intressant, välsmakande.... Att vara ett parti av 2 innebar att vi inte kunde försöka så mycket som vi ville (vi gjorde vårt bästa dock! ) men vad vi hade var utmärkt. Definitivt värt ett besök!

Jag reserverade mig här efter att ha sett den innehålla "The Flay List" med Bobby Flay. Det var enastående! Tjänsten var fantastisk och maten var som ingen annan. Exklusiva mexikansk mat och dryck! ! Började med det rökt mangosnacks och några jordnötter medan vi väntade på våra cocktails, allt handgjorda noggrant. Mango var som ingenting jag har haft förut. Söt, kryddig och chewy. Vi hade betor chorizo taco, de var inte en super beety smak, mer chorizo krydda. Tempura räkor tacos, perfekt krispiga. Sedan rekommenderade vår server Pollo en Las Brazas, det var en av de bästa kycklingrätter jag någonsin har haft. Super fuktig och krispig hud, mycket citrus, bara underbar. Vi hade en underbar måltid och det var en riktigt söt plats. Mindre än ett kvarter från tunnelbanan tillbaka till NYC. Map sa en 30-minuters tunnelbanetur, men det var mer som 20 och ingen linjeändring. Högt rekommenderad. Och badrummen är som ingen annan, kanske inte är toppmodern, men ingenting som du har varit tidigare! ! !

Jag åkte med min fru på en jubileumsfirande - det är inte så Oxomoco är den typen av plats - faktiskt är det mer den typ av plats som jag kan tänka mig att åka till regelbundet. Beviljat, kostnaden är lite mer än en typisk taqueria, men det är inte det. Från läckra aptitretare, inklusive tonfisk tartare till en smaskig mexikansk majs (pizza), var allt riktigt bra gjort. Vi hade svamp tacos som var fantastisk och en kyckling maträtt som serveras med bönor och tortillas som var utmärkt, samt. Och drycker - medan jag inte brydde mig om den frysta palomen - servitrisen var otroligt tillmötesgående och bytte ut den för en perfekt vanlig margarita. Atmosfären är idealisk - stort luftigt utrymme med vitmålade tegelväggar och ljusarmaturer från mitten av århundradet. Jag kände att jag hade transporterats till South Beach - men på ett bra sätt. Högt rekommenderad.

Vi började med en vattenmelon margarita som var perfekt storlek och smakade fantastiskt. Ibland kan vattenmelon vara för söt men inte här. Vi fick tonfisk till tonfisk, fläskkaka Carnitas tacos, Arrachera Flank Steak tacos, grillad kejsarsallad och Market Corn Tlayuda. De var alla otroliga. Om vi inte var så fulla hade vi fått mer. Om du får chansen, kolla definitivt ut denna plats.

God mexikansk är svår att hitta i NYC men Oxomoco kommer att komma nära LA / Southern California kvalitet. Min fru och jag åkte dit till middag och denna plats är super söt (definitivt redo för dina instagram bilder). Södra mexikansk mat gjort mycket bra, du kan inte gå fel på deras meny, börja med någon av Ntojitos där du inte kan gå fel, min personliga favorit är den röda mango. Jag rekommenderar starkt att följa med Soya Marinated Tuna Tostada som var min favorit sak vi beställde och färdiga med tacos där du inte kan gå fel med någon av dem. Blandade drinkar är välsmakande och tjänsten är bra. Skulle rekommenderar för en natt ute med ett datum.

Gick här med några vänner förra veckan. Otroligt fräsch mexikansk mat. Räka ceviche och kyckling tacos var stativ ut disken men för att vara ärlig det var allt fantastiskt. Vi åkte till sju eller åtta olika restauranger under vår NYC paus och det var verkligen det bästa stället.

Detta var en av de finaste ställena jag har varit under det senaste året. Härlig avslappnad atmosfär, enastående service. Vi hade brunch. Kreativiteten, komplexiteten och rika smaken av dessa färska mexikanska rätter var ganska minnesvärd. Missa inte, boka framåt.
