Excellent restaurant! Every dish was fresh and flavorful! The salads were delicate and plated nicely. The meat was tender and tasty. The chai was warming and elegant.  Even our 7yr Olds nuggets and fries were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Potatoes w mushrooms are delectable and garlic.
The space is classic, but also funny (sheep images and deco are everywhere) which lends warmth and character.
It might be pricey... but you get what you pay for.
We came mid-week, so service was quick, attentive and professional.

A Memorable Celebration at Sheep by Barashka!

We recently hosted a very special celebration at Sheep by Barashka, located at 1223 Avenue U in Brooklyn, for our friend’s 80th birthday, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, the restaurant exceeded all expectations, making the event truly unforgettable.

The venue was perfect for our gathering, with enough space to comfortably accommodate our large group of friends and family. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and elegant, setting the perfect tone for this milestone celebration.

The food was incredible! Every dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the restaurant’s unique and authentic flavors. Guests were raving about the variety and quality of the offerings—from delicious appetizers to mouthwatering main courses. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly, ensuring that every detail of the party was taken care of.

What really stood out to us, though, was the attention to detail in creating an atmosphere that was both festive and intimate. It felt like the team at Sheep by Barashka went above and beyond to make this celebration truly special.

If you’re looking for a venue to celebrate a milestone or just enjoy a wonderful meal with loved ones, Sheep by Barashka is an excellent choice. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important occasion. Highly recommended!

Went with my mom today to SHEEP BY BARASHKA. We had been once before and really enjoyed it. The menu has a great variety and offers a lot of really wonderful comfort foods.  We both had Cornish hen which you really cannot get in many restaurants. it was excellent, We also had sweet potato fries, a salad, incredible chicken soup.  The last time I went with my dad and he had the had the chicken schnitzel, which I tried and loved. the restaurant is relatively inexpensive compared to others in the neighborhood and the quality is tops. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

So far, that was our 5th visit to Batashka since they opened. The food was delicious, the service was great. The place was quiet because of Rosh Hashanah night. I like that restaurant. We ordered a couple of salads, hinkaly and for main course kebabs plate for four guests.
I'll visit Barashka soon.

They charged me 28$ for 4 pieces of beef shish kabob! Lmaooooo ... insane  🤦‍♀️ ... baby potatoes were raw ! Completely raw ...  cherry vareniki were ok but the dough is too thick ... 88 $ right in the garage
