I enjoyed the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center.  The artwork in the Salon exhibit was very interesting and diverse.

this former bank has gorgeous architecture and provides a unique space for art exhibitions.  although it is right on Broadway, it feels a little bit off the beaten path - you wouldn't be likely to walk in off the street - because it is not well marked on the street.  however, it is worthwhile to keep watch on their schedule!
