This restaurant is a favorite of my husband and I's. This was our third time there. We go for special occasions to try the new Chef's Special menu and we have yet to be disappointed. This time, it was for our 18th anniversary. Between the food, drinks and the service, it was an amazing celebration. This time around, the drinks were tequila-based. As for the food, it was a variety from tacos to liver to shrimp and chicken. I highly recommend.

I LOVE this place. Amazing food and drinks at amazing prices. I got a group of 10 people to come here for my birthday and we got the chef’s choice pre-fix menu. Little did we know that it’s going to be a 9-course meal (including 2 desserts) that fit all our varying dietary restrictions (pork, gluten, dairy) - for only $58pp (not including drinks)! We were stuffed by the end of the 5th course! But we pushed through. My favorite dish was the fish tacos but honestly it was all delicious. The espresso flan was also especially tasty. The staff is extremely nice and very accommodating. Highly highly recommend this place, even for large groups! The drinks are also really good and creative!

My husband and I came here for my birthday and it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we walked in the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We did the tasting menu and each dish was delicious and unique. Shout-out to Eric and the rest of the wait staff, they really made my birthday special!! The coffee flan and chicken wings with the Chile sauce were standouts. They even made us a special drink to taste.

Wow. Had the tasting menu here and it was incredible. The affordable price was an absolute plus! Hint: the name is pronounced like the Jewish word ‘shiksa’

I would call this cuisine, modern or “new” Mexican.  Every dish we had from appetizer, entree to dessert was delicious and satisfying (except for the chicken wings - the flavor was great, but seemed ‘too soft’) Check out the photos for the dishes we were served. Go and enjoy yourselves - but make a reservation because it will be packed!

The drink menu is a little confusing, but with the help of the servers, they’ll steer you right!  And the drinks are also incredible!

Highly recommend - we ate at Xixa after throughly enjoying their sister restaurant. We loved our first four courses and all tied for favorite - they were that amazing. The wings,  foie gras and osso bucco were good but did not slap like the other dishes.

Staff were wonderful and automosphere is cutie. Will be back.
