We'll need to come back a little bit earlier as we got there within the hour before closing, which may have affected the quality of the food we got. Everything tasted good, but I think things sat under the heat lamp a little longer than usual as my loaded baked potato no longer had any butter, but was rather sitting in a pool of melted butter, and my son's steak ended up being over the temperature ordered. Cute restaurant, very friendly staff, and definitely worth coming back for another try.

While visiting family in GA we met some friends at The Mason Jar restaurant in Auburn. We went on a Friday evening around 7 p.m. and it was extremely busy still. We waited about 45 minutes for a table. Because they were so busy our food did take a long time to come out. And of course we had to try a couple of the famous Milkshakes that they offer. Those milkshakes are amazing and overwhelming all at the same time! The food portions were huge.  The food was just ok but the milkshakes were to die for! The milkshakes, fun country decor and friendly wait staff make this place with visiting!

Tonight was our first time. Very cute and cozy feel. Everyone was very friendly and inviting. We had to wait about one hour but definitely worth the wait. We put in our desert order when we ordered our food and it worked out perfect. We got our "Delicious!!" desert just as we were finishing dinner. We had the pleasure of talking with the manager while waiting for our food.  He was very pleasant. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap. All I have to say is yum! My husband ordered a ribeye sandwich and he was not impressed with.  For dessert we had a chocolate shake.  I definitely recommend sharing! It's way too much for one person, You get your money's worth. We will definitely come back.

We showed up about 1 pm to try an after lunch milkshake but were informed they do not start serving them until 4 pm. They were only serving the buffet during lunch. Didn't see that anywhere in the reviews so figured I'd add it. The decor was awesome though (pictured) and my kids really enjoyed it. We'll have to come back when they serve the full menu.

Wow is all I can say. There are few places that can pull off chicken fried steak very well, and this is clearly one of them.

The chicken was good, as well. The biscuits have great flavor, but they are a bit squishy. That's a weird description, I know, and I think they would be absolutely delicious the next day toasted with jelly on them.

But let's be real, that's not why most of the people were in the restaurant when we were there. I didn't realize that they made milkshakes that look like they came from Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. In fact, that's where I'll be going back for my birthday specifically for milkshake.

Don't forget to look up at the ceiling decor.
