Creative take on Creole food. Wonderful server who explained the more unique menu items in great detail. Charming decor that is warm and inviting. Even the ladies room was a beautiful. Artisanal cocktail menu. The sausage gumbo was phenomenal. It had a smoky flavor with a deep mahogany color and a small mound of rice in the center. Get the bowl vs the cup, you won't regret it! The side house salad was really good. Loved the pickled onions. The boudin egg rolls were accompanied with pepper jelly and were fantastic.

My first time here, but quite disappointed in the service and the food. i ordered, the chefs shrimp and grits, the grits were alright, but the shrimp was extremely SALTY. now, as for the service, the young lady was very rude. she left while i was speaking to her to go whisper something to her coworker in the back, after waiting there awkwardly, i asked for a flatbread which she told me they were out of. she was upset that i didn't have a second option in mind, so when i ordered, she blooped the food on the plate, rang it up, and gave me my receipt. i even said thank you, and she just looked at me and turned around.

Saturday morning breakfast at Main Street Market offers a wide variety of choices. My past three visits, I have found myself drawn to the friendly and familiar crew at Chef Celeste Bistro. When you are here, you're family, even if it's just for a few minutes while you order. I splurged and got the steak croissant last week, and can I tell you, I was so happy for the extra calories! The buttery mix of the flaky croissant, the cheese, and the hot steak just meshed together for a perfect start to my day. I actually didn't even eat again until about 4pm! I've also had the breakfast sandwich, a perfectly priced and balanced meal. There are so many great quiches I can't wait to try, and eventually i hope to make it over to grab lunch there one day. So after a good morning browsing the market and grabbing your weekly veggies, eggs, and special treats, head on over and let the family at Chef Celeste take care of you!

If you are looking for a tasty bite downtown that won't break the bank, do yourself a favor and try Chef Celeste inside Main Street Market. The Ruben, the Chicken Sensation Salad, and the Surf & Turf Burger have all been incredible. They are very swift with the preparation and everything is very fresh.

bad service. im not one to get upset or even add reviews but this experience was so bad it ruined my entire time. they didn't have grits while grits is a big potion of what they give you so i had to get sn extra biscuit. i would understand this if it was a normal restaurant but most of their business comes once a week on saturdays and they can even have enough for that one day? my friend orders too, she got a breakfast sandwich which says in the description that it was a biscuit and they tried to give her a burger bun with it. we waited about 25 minutes for our food even though it was a buffet and the food was there all they had to do was but it in the box.. when i got my food it was cold and low quality for the $8 i paid. the customer service was bad im really disappointed i used to go her all the time with my mom but its gotten so much worse i dont plan on going here again .

They are always so nice here. Great specials and place to relax from the heat. I have to try their brunch, It looks amazing. I'll be going back again and again.

I can only comment on the item I had which was the Small Shrimp and Grits but I will add while this was a big miss flavor wise many of the other items looked good and everything was fresh. That being said the shrimp and grits were not good. The ingredients themselves were good, the grits were creamy and the shrimp fresh and cooked well however the sauce was horrible. The sauce was an odd mix of dried herbs that were neither common nor a good mix for the dish. There was a large amount of dried rosemary which had to be picked out and the dish tasted like what an inexperienced cook might add without a good idea of what would complement the dish and what turned out was an overwhelming taste of dried herb that hot sauce, salt and pepper couldn't fix. The other issue was why the dish was plated as opposed to being served in a bowl certainly an issue that could be overlooked if the dish had have been good.
