Where do I start? This is by far the best burrito restaurant in the United States of America. The ingredients are always fresh and the selection of dark and light chicken meat is an amazing touch. The sauces are incredible and are very well made. They have service down to a science. If there's ever a long line it doesn't last long. They are bonafide professionals. If you are in Baton Rouge, you need to go to Izzos at least once.

We walked in at about 5:30pm on a Friday and it was not busy yet. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and told us what to do. We found a table and looked at the menu and she quickly came to take our drink order. We had fried pickles which were good but I have to talk about the hot roast beef po-boy. This sandwich was so good! I have NEVER had po-boy bread so fresh! I want to go back just for the bread. The service was great, atmosphere was pleasant and the sweet man that checked us out was so funny and we got out right when they started getting busy. All around we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

I'm not sure if Louis was just having a bad day today but his attitude was uncalled for. My friend and I ordered beers and he made a couple comments along the lines of "I guess it's 4pm somewhere" and it was judgy and rude. Like sir it's 1pm and you work in college town why are you so mad I ordered a corona? When he came out from the back the workers were timid and seemed on edge. He was slamming things down and sighing and giving off the impression that he just did not want to be there. I hope today was just an exception and he doesn't treat his customers and staff like this on a regular basis.

Okay Mexican food for a decent price. Starting off with the pros, the service was quick. Plus for college students, if you show them your ID, you get a discount. Their chips and queso are also really good! Highly recommend...I could eat a whole bowl of just their chips and queso. Now the downside and the reason why I'm rating a 2/5. I ordered the street taco combo with a steak taco and a ground pork taco. Taste wise, they were great, but when I looked closer, I found hair on one of my lettuce toppers. Completely lost my appetite after seeing that. Don't think I'll be coming back to Izzo's any time soon either...

One of my fav quick meal options. Today I got a burrito in a bowl. I love the topping options and the portion side is great for the price. My only critique is the holding of the line to fill online orders. This location is notorious for that. I suggest having two food station lines to accommodate online and in person.

I never really wanted to try Izzo's because fast-food mexican never appealed to me, but now that I've tried it, I regret not going earlier! Izzo's has surprisingly super fresh ingredients. I got the eat fit salad, which has pico de gallo, chicken, guacamole, cilantro ranch dressing, and cheese.

Izzo's is a solid build-your-own burrito place like the chain places you all know but I contest the quality is much higher. I have usually gotten the burritos but on my most recent trip to Baton Rouge I visited twice and went with the burrito bowl instead, both times. The food is delicious. The usual idea of pick your beans, pick your rice, meat, veggies, sauces, but done well. Look at it this way... You built it so if you don't like it then it's on you because they sure do their part with high quality ingredients

I must admit I am never happy with service here. There is all but one person who seems like a chicken with their head cut off. I order the same thing whenever I come and every time it seems to baffle them. If you ask for extra meat u will get it but only after them asking you twice and the person not understanding exactly how you want this to be done. I usually order a quesadilla with double steak rice on the side. This seems to baffle them when writing it down. They don't make any terrible mistakes but when I go here ordering seems sooo draining and tedious. The food here is amazing. For fast food it's great. It's got the feel of a chipotle except the theme is crime. I guess the food is so good it's illegal. Well whatever the idea they have successfully poached me from chipotle. The ingredients seem fresher there are more options and while a single meal is more expensive then chipotle they give you more options on meals to buy which is amazing. If you had to choose between chipotle and izzos especially if ur from out of town choose izzos
