Everything!!! I really recommend this place. We had this amazing worker, best waitress I ever had, food was amazing and really good, really nice place inside, and overall just amazing. Worth the money. Will be going a lot.

Super excited when I saw Kpot was opening a location in Baton Rouge. An all you can eat Korean hot pot and bbq where you get to select either hot pot, bbq, or do both within 2 hours. I tried doing both once, and I found that I enjoyed the hot pot more, and adding in bbq was a bit much. The process was simple. Order your choice of broth for the hot pot. My favs are the golden chicken and tom yum, and then use the ipad to order a selection of vegetables, seafood, meat, and noodles that you like to add in the pot. Give it a good swirl in the boiling broth, fish it out to a plate, and enjoy. There is also a good selection of small side dishes and sauces to complement the meal, so don't pass up on those. The process is similar with the bbq. There's a hot plate in the table and you get to grill everything fresh to savor immediately. It's fun, it's a different experience, and all good food.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. I knew that they would be bombarded when they first opened so I waited a few weeks(09.18) to try. We came in with a party of 6 at 5:00pm and did both hot pot and bbq. When we sat, the server got our broth selections and our drinks and then we were left on our own. Ordering on the ipad our selections came out pretty quick, but once it got busy it did take a bit longer for it to comeout. We ordered one or two of the items at first to see how it was served. Meat selections vary between 2-8 pieces depending on what you order and veggies, regardless of how many servings was ordered it seemed like the same amount was brought out. I was able to get my portion discounted since it was my birthday and overall it was an okay experience. I came back 2 weeks later (09.30) and did hot pot only. Again, ordered multiple servings of the veggies and only one portion was served each time. There were more selections of kimchi on the banchan bar this time but what really got to me is that if you pay with cash, they round down when giving back your change. Our total was $74.22 and our change was supposed to be $25.78. We only recieved $25. Here's the thing, I get some places do change back with only bills cause they don't carry coins but I was under the assumption if that was the case, it should be rounded up and not down. I called the restaurant when I got home and spoke with the manager to inquiry if that's how they handle their cash transactions by rounding down, and the manager, Luther, told me that's their "practice" of giving back change. He told me if I had asked about my change, it would have been brought to me. I didn't realize I had to request for my money back. (Which honestly would have been left for the tip, but the fact that it was taken without giving me the option to give to the server, irks me) I do enjoy it and was so excited that they are now open but last night experience left me with a feeling. Will we be back? Possibly, but if so I know not to pay with cash going forward.

The hubby and I have dined here twice so far had good experiences. The first time was on a weekday around 2pm. We were able to walk-in and get seated immediately. We opted for the kpot and bbq lunch combo. I got the miso for my soup base and my husband got the Szechuan Spicy. I loved the miso and the Szechuan was good but got old quick due to an overpowering flavor. I really enjoyed the option of ordering everything from an iPad so that we didn't have to wait on our waiter. Everything we ordered was delicious and very flavorful. The lamb was my favorite. The Buffett only had 2 food options: chicken wings and fries. My only complaints this visit were, the table was small and we felt overwhelmed eating around all the plates of raw meat, it got pretty hot in there with the boiling pots, and the fries at the buffet were cold. On our second visit, we arrived on a Sunday around 1pm and had an hour wait. We went with just the kpot dinner option this time, lunch wasn't offered. I ordered the miso soup base again and my husband chose Tom Yum. The buffet had an added option to choose from this go around: spring rolls. Everything from the buffet was hot and delicious. The table we were seated at was larger which gave us more room for all of our plates. Overall, we really enjoyed the food here and definitely plan on returning! Be aware that it gets pretty hot in there and you will sweat, so dress light. Lol

I may or may not love this place so much! ;). I am a big fan of hot pot and Korean bbq since I visited their location in Maryland. Since then, I had been patiently waiting when I saw they were entering the BR market. I've been on opening day and a couple of other times and the food was great all times. You cook it yourself, so grill up the bbq to your liking and spice it up. If you leave hungry you did it wrong. When you first come here it can be overwhelming, but slow down and enjoy. We always do hot pot and the bbq but you can do one or the other. Just fyi if one person does hot pot, the whole table has to here. Highly recommend- the wait moves a little faster than they quote as well.

Saw this place on TikTok and had to check it out! It's been open for about 2 months. There was no wait on a Friday when we came. Our server was absolutely great at explaining the menu to us. Not gonna lie we were a little lost lol. The whole KPot vs BBQ meats threw us for a loop! It was such a fun experience. It did all happen so fast, you're ordering, cooking, and eating all very fast. A bit overstimulating but such a cool experience. I got the Thai TomYum base and it was pretty good but tasted sweet?? That not how it was explained to us so many I added something that made it sweet? Not exactly sure, but I much preferred my husband's. He got the Szechuan Spicy base and OMG. YUMMY! not too spicy and you can doctor it up. Food and service was great. We came right before Halloween so they were setting up Halloween decorations. This place will do well!! Forgot to add, they do give you oil for you pan so the meat isn't getting stuck!

Service was prompt and well informed about many choices. You could order as many servings as you wanted but each serving was small and took time to cook at table. The place was noisy and chaotic with so many servers running around and forgetting our requests. Cost was very high since you pay a premium to get both hot pot and grill. We are not likely to go back. Glad there are now other Korean places.

We arrived about 5:27pm on a Saturday night. We were quoted an 1hr and 30 minute wait time. Our table was ready at exactly 6:00. The give you 10 minutes from the time you receive the text. We were seated quickly. The area was cleaned really well. The service was great. There is a 2 hour max. You can order food on the tablet every 3 minutes. We tried both the hot pot and the Korean BBQ. There is also a bar where you can make your own sauces and a few appetizers, fruit, and desserts. Mid-way through we started to run out of hot pot sauce and it was quickly refilled. Our grill was also changed twice during our stay. Overall the food is good. It was a great experience. We will be returning.

Delicious food!! You cook the food yourself at your table, our waitress was very sweet and accommodating (gave us some tips for our next visit to make it smoother with our young kiddos!) a great way to celebrate a special event, night out, or date night! Very one inside was very friendly and we very much enjoyed ourselves! We will be returning
