I expected Pura Vida to have great coffee, given the environment, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food items are as well! So far, I've had their Cali Club, Hot Honey Chicken, and Caprese flatbread sandwiches, and all 3 were REALLY good. I requested added chicken to the Caprese, and the staff was happy to do so, without any extra charge. Their coffee is also great. The Coastal Cruz and Coco(nut) Loco hit the mark! I requested "easy on the sweetness", and the baristas took care of it. There is plenty of seating area, both upstairs and downstairs. Love the tropical feel!

Food is mediocre, but not overpriced. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was alright. They have one young lady making food and another blonde barista just wandering around asking head guy barista if there is anything he needs while there is someone operating till. There's a reason why you shouldn't have undergrads entirely working. They get silly immature and the floating extra person could help expedite food from the one person working in the kitchen. Another joked with me that good takes a long time. Well, there were enough people to make food. Sandwich with chips took 15 mins to make. That's a little dumb.

Such a fun study spot or just a spot to hang out and catch up with friends! It's two story and BEAUTIFUL. Lots of greenery (fake but still cute) and clean. Service was really fast and everyone is so so kind and patient (if you're like me and never know what you're going to order). Food was good-- iced matcha latte didn't have enough ~matcha~ and could taste more of the milk, but the hot matcha latte was great :) If you're planning on staying here and studying for hours, the only downside is that alot of websites are blocked, shortening my stay. I brought it up to staff and it's a well known issue, so I'm sure it'll be fixed in no time!

Great place to get coffee and Matcha. Their space is very very huge! A great place to sit down and relax, work, study. The Matcha drink itself was good. It was very milky, and the strawberry tasted like a strawberry from a smoothie rather than a syrup. Overall felt healthy, I'll come back.

This is a cool place. The food was good and coffee was too. Nothing exceptional but the place itself is really neat.

The place is beautifully designed. It is a coffee bar that offers refreshing alcoholic beverages. As well as lite bites for food options. The space is open and allows you to study in an open environment from its downstairs seating to upstairs. They have a small stage for event hosting. You can also host an event there as well due to the large capacity.

Beautiful coffee/tea study spot. Large , spacious building with 2 floors. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They have several drinks and food options. Great spot to study or meet friends. I tried the Matcha with lavender honey. My daughter had the Coastal drink. I didn't care for he Matcha but my daughter said hers was pretty good. I will return to try additional items.

I was attracted by the pictures of Pura Vida - open, airy, palm-treed- and decided to check it out. It's an interesting mix. Pros: the ambiance is just as pictured - quiet, soft music, airy. Most of the seating is a little too chi-chi to be comfortable, but sofas are available as well. Coffee pros: I ordered a cortado, and it was beautifully made and delicious. Five stars, no notes. Food: okay, here's where it got tricky. The breakfast items are VERY limited, and my first choice, a yogurt parfait, was crossed off the menu. I ordered a breakfast wrap, which was overstuffed with eggs, potatoes and bacon, and served with salsa and dipping sauce. It was actually very good, BUT. Because it was overstuffed, it was impossible to eat with hands. It was equally impossible to cut and eat with fork and knife because it was served in a plastic basket lined with a soggy wax paper and the only cutlery was plastic. Plates and actual cutlery would have made ALL the difference in making this a delightful meal instead of a frustrating, messy meal. Two stars for the food, because, come on. It's hard to enjoy even good food if you can't even stab it with a fork. Parking is easy and readily available out front, and service was friendly. I'll be back for coffee, at least.
