Amazing food but DO NOT GO if there are men behind the counter. They ruin the food every time. No idea of how to make it, they will hurt this wonderful restaurant's reputation. The ladies will get you right every time.

This may have been one of the most surprisingly good restaurants I've ever had. We saw this place open up quick, but from their socials it looked like another Chipotle clone type restaurant. I was intrigued because I saw the original is near Guadalajara. The restaurant is impressive right when you walk in the door. Every table in the restaurant appears to be a live edge wooden slab with real leather chairs. There are several huge art pieces on the walls. It was much nicer that you would expect this type of restaurant to be, none of those garbage aluminum chairs nobody likes or dumpy stools with no back. The high top chairs were extremely comfortable. You do go up to the service counter to order, as you would at a subway or Chipotle. The prices are very reasonable, especially for what is offered. First off, everything in the ingredient bar looked appetizing. It was hard to pick what I wanted on my burrito because everything looked so good. They are very generous with the ingredients too. My burrito was gigantic, it had to be at least a foot long. We're talking big enough to make you wonder if they are making money. My burrito was very delicious. We also had queso with chips. The queso looks thin, but was very delicious with poblano chunks throughout. My GF was also able to order carnitas here, which for some reason seems to be in short order in BR. The service is good. All of the employees were helpful. I didnt come in with really any expectations, and I was very impressed. This is definitely a joint I'll be coming back to.

As frequent Louie's visitors, we saw spicy rico's slowly come to life but were never really able to find any info on it. We Finally, we decided to pop in and see what its all about. Traditional Mexican food in a build-your-own setting. Choose between a bowl, nachos, burritos, etc. The portions are huge and the flavors are great. I had a bowl with the steak and carnitas and was not disappointed. Half got saved for dinner. The space is big with comfy seating and the service from start to finish was perfect. We cant wait to return and try some other flavors.

The customer service was great. I was treated when I walked in the door. The decor and ambiance is really nice as well. I could have just stayed there. The vibe is very comfortable and inviting. There's plenty of options to select from. The portions are very generous as well. I also ordered the hibiscus Fresca and it wasn't too sweet just right. A lot of food can fit in that bowl I definitely couldn't eat all at one time. I had to save it for later. It was really good and I'll definitely come back again.

My daughter and I tried this place on a Wednesday afternoon around 4pm. The restaurant was empty inside. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. I went with the steak and chicken bowl and my daughter had the steak nachos with a drink. They both came with complimentary chips and dip. Now the price was expensive to me. I paid right at $40. I didn't care for the texture of my rice. Almost gummy. I also didn't like the taste of the meat. My daughter enjoyed her nachos. With Chipotle being so close, I probably won't return to this spot.

This food is so good ! Very flavorful ! Great selection of meats and toppings. More authentic tasting than a chipotle. The inside is cute with a few photo ops. The staff was really sweet and let us taste a couple meats before making our selections.

Everything here was super flavorful and well seasoned. The portions are large, me and my boyfriend split some nachos. All the ingredients taste fresh. Service was fast since you build your own bowl, burrito, nachos, or tacos. The ambience is nice. It's really big and cute in there, great decor. Overall totally worth the price and will definitely be back.

Really nice place. The staff are really attentive, and the options are quite extensive. I ordered the bowl with veggies, cilantro rice, black beans, queso, guac, corn, pico and onions. I topped it off with the spicy salsa. You get a small bag of chips with salsa with your order. I'll definitely come back and try more.

I have been to Spicy Rico two times and the second time was just like the first, Fresh quality food and great service that I enjoy when ordering food. I will continue to visit because the ladies that always help me out are very nice and courtous.

I made the mistake of ordering the pork quesadillas...they came out totally wet, fully soaked in grease. While the first few bites were decent, after a minute I simply could not stomach any more and tossed it. If that wasn't enough...I GOT SALMONELLA FROM THIS SHIT!!! Terrible experience, hope they close and/or burn down in the near future. SALMONELLA.
