I almost gave Popeyes 5 stars, because I thought my order was correct. Popeyes is the only fast food place that will always mess up an order. And their wait times are ungodly especially if they specialize in only chicken. I recommend only going inside, if you can. And ALWAYS check your bag in its entirety.. it's easy to get finessed when it's a large order. My more recent and LAST ever visit, yielded some weird experiences. I ordered their meal that comes with lots of chicken, 4 regular sides, and 4 biscuits. I selected 2 Cajun rice and 2 macaroni and cheese for my sides. My order took forever and I was fine, because they're always slow at EVERY Popeyes.. even though you can visibly see lots of chicken waiting to be given to a home. A manager ended up coming on shift and asked all of us waiting in the lobby for our receipts. That resulted in an even longer wait. Why, after all of that, my order was STILL wrong? instead of my Cajun rice and macaroni, I had 4 orders of fries, a mashed potato and a red bean. Given the way the bag was packed I would have had to fully unpack my bag to notice this. This should not be required, especially as a paying customer. And the visit before that I had to pull over to wait for tenders and an employee almost gave me a huge bag of food that belonged to the car in front of me, thankfully I'm honest.

Always hot & fresh. Staff very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure your order is right. Great & Fast to stop and grab dinner so you don't to cook.

I had one of the worst experiences at this Popeyes location, and I am beyond disappointed. I specifically requested dark meat chicken because I was feeding children who only eat legs or thighs. Not only did they refuse to accommodate my request, but they also gave me spicy chicken instead of mild, completely ignoring my order. To make matters worse, the drive-thru line was incredibly slow, causing me to be late picking up my kids. And just when I thought I could avoid the wait by going inside, they locked the lobby early--no notice, no explanation. After spending nearly $45, I expected to at least get what I ordered, but instead, I received not even one leg--the complete opposite of what I asked for. Now I have food I can't even serve my family. This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and I will think twice before coming back. Popeyes needs to do better with customer service, order accuracy, and basic consideration for their paying customers. The girl Keon who took the order actually told me she would try to accommodate my request but she literally did the exact opposite! The location on the expressway is wayyyyy better with good service. Just go down the street and save the stress!!!

The taste of their food is not the issue; the WAIT is the problem!!! We were told to pull up at drive-thru; I waited 20 minutes in my car. When I decided to walk inside of the restaurant to check on my order, I was told that my blackened chicken sandwich was being prepared. I waited an additional 15 minutes inside for a total of 35 minutes. The lady inside was sweet enough to give me 3 drinks free for my wait. Overall, I would bring my patience if visiting this establishment.

Just threw their Shrimp Tackle box in the trash! After pulling off the dark, heavy breading I found small, rubbery shrimp. The flounder sandwich appeared to have been pre-made, the smashed bun was soggy with sauce. These items are NOT worthy of their "Louisiana Kitchen" brand. Louisiana diners expect better.

ordered a tender meal and seemed to be hair in every piece. When I ordered it, it had a few missing things. They never give out utensils, or napkins. Figured I'd add that.

Stopped by 45 minutes before closing, and the staff never responded. I finally pulled around to the window and knocked until someone approached and I asked if they were open, her response was, "does it look like we're open?" I pulled away and went home.

Food was fresh, that's not the issue. However it took so long to get my order that I had to piss in a bottle as I was trapped in the drive-thru lane from hell. I couldn't pull away because of the curbs and bushes and the line of cars behind me. It wasn't all that busy and well before closing time. This was an absolute nightmare, and all I got for it was some overpriced chicken tenders. I wouldn't wish this experience on anybody, literally traumatizing.
