Went on a windy, chilly Friday mid-morning for the first use my husband's Crescent City Golf Card he received for Christmas. Sort of Off-the-beaten path; you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't have directions. Not very crowded this particular day, so my husband was processed quickly. There was a $15 charge for me to ride and not play, which isn't unusual. The golf shop itself is very small without a lot of offerings. Breakfast was ready-made mini muffaletta sandwiches grabbed for $3, and a beer was available too. The mini muffalettas were surprisingly very tasty. Lunch was a Bridge 28 burger, medium, with fries, and a pound of A&W Catering chicken salad. The burger was huge and very good ($12), and the one pound of chicken salad ($15) was phenomenal! Morning and afternoon bartenders were both friendly, and A&W employee was very pleasant. Joe was the golf course marshal we encountered on the course. He was knowledgeable of the course and of the game, and he was personable enough to talk to "the wife" who doesn't play golf and zones out about 2 min into a golf conversation. The course came with a hole guide - which we haven't found at the other 2 courses he's played locally. Loved that there was a port-a-potty at hole 15. LOTS of water traps on this course, so beware. The ride was pleasant and the scenery quieting. They host what appears to be quite a few meals to eat on location or to go. There are also plans for expansion of the F&B and venue offerings at the course, which I'm looking forward to enjoying. We plan on coming back for more!

Just picked up golf again after being away for 10 years. The conditions are awesome and the price is right!

Well, we golfed 18 this week. Course was in poor condition. Greens were worst I've seen this year. But worst part was we golfed behind a group of 5, that didn't care to let us pass. No marshal to help. We waited on every hole. Not a memorable experience.

I like this course. First off, the staff here is super friendly, and helpful. Everyone we met was like that. The course itself (we did 9 before it started pouring) was nicely kept. Kind of winds around a sub division (watch out for windows!!). Not too challenging, but I'm not a great golfer! The cost is inexpensive, and they run specials all the time.

I have played here four times - 8/12/14, 6/4/15, 8/31/15, and 9/1/15. The course is in excellent condition and the difficulty level (from the white tees) is just right for the intermediate golfer. Every par 4 and 5 is easily drive-able. No need to worry about hooks and slices since the fairways are wide and forgiving. Fairway grass is in excellent condition. Note on some holes the approach shot is lined by residential housing. Any hooks or slices towards the houses will fall into thick, rough grass which makes finding the ball difficult. Bunkers are well maintained, sand is soft. Greens are fast, especially after some rain. I've only booked from Golfnow using their hot deal tee time deals. Those are usually on weekday afternoons and range from 20 to 30 dollars. That is a steal. The deal includes a cart and free range balls to get warmed up on the range. Carts are gas powered so you may smell the petroleum but otherwise they are clean. No GPS on carts. There is some construction going on in holes 19-27. I'm not sure how long that will last but on holes 1-3 you will see tractors and dirt diggers. Thankfully they were not too loud when I was playing. Pace is blistering fast if you are by yourself on a weekday afternoon. I finished in 3 hours, 15 minutes one time. If there are foursomes in front of you they usually let you play through. Even if the course gets a bit clogged the pace still is decent. I always finished within 4 hours. For 27 dollars tax included this is the best deal for golf in the New Orleans area. That price can only get you 9 holes back in California.

We have played many neighborhood courses - this is probably the worst course we have played. The fairways and greens were in horrible condition-covered with fungus and bare patches, the sand traps were more like dirt than sand. Not sure the have put any time or money into the place in years. Do not waste your time or money.

Pro shop guy could care less about customer service or ensuring that we are happy before we leave for Teebox one. Beautiful course and in excellent condition I highly recommend it if you're wanting a great experience golf wise but not customer service wise we were treated like we were peasants and it's very frustrating to drive from San Antonio to play golf here and get treated that way it's absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional on all levels

We recently hosted an event at Stonebridge, and it went very smoothly. Norma was the primary contact and was wonderful to work with. She provided great recommendations as we worked out the floor plan and food selections. She was very accommodating with all the special requests we had. We are planning to use this venue again in the near future.

Played on a Monday morning, as a single. First, be forewarned, you will be charged a much higher fee for being a non-resident. Presumably they do not care if you come back, so they want to get as much from you as they can while you are in town. I was charged $55, and was told that was a great deal, as their normal non-resident fee is $70. Based on the condition of the golf course, this is a $30 golf course at most, not worth a penny more. I am a 5 handicap, and play three times a week, so I know what a decent golf course looks like. As stated by another reviewer, the fairway bunkers are just dirt, and basically not playable. The tees, fairways, and rough are all in poor condition. On a positive note, the greens actually were not too bad, but I'm not sure that compensated for the overall poor condition of the course. They were working on the course however. Unfortunately, there was a guy going around right in front of me putting down sand on all the greens. I have never seen an instance where a course employee would actually interrupt play to perform routine maintenance, but he kept making me wait to hit shots so he could work without interruption. In one instance, I actually had a ball sitting on a green about 10 feet from the cup, and he drove right by me and started sanding the green, thus making me wait, and then putt through sand. On another hole he went zipping past me pulling his sand dispenser right in the middle of my tee shot (I teed up another one). Really bizarre. I took the trouble to mention this in the pro shop, and received no particular satisfaction other than "sorry", and "the GM must have gone to the bank". Someone left some nice comments from when they played this course in 2014 and 2015. Obviously conditions have changed since then. My suggestion: 1: Drive a little further, 2. Get more enjoyment for your hard earned money, and 3. Support a golf course that appreciates your business. Have fun, hit'em straight and hit'em long!
