Welcome, Venezia -- we needed you here! The pizza? Absolute fire. This time I tried the cannelloni and WHOA baby... total flavor bomb. It's the kind of dish that makes you pause and appreciate every bite. The space is perfect for solo visits too -- grab a cocktail, settle in, and enjoy good food with even better vibes. Honestly, it makes me want to slide into a deep leather booth with a glass of red, dressed to the nines, dishing hot takes about everyone who walks in. Sadly... no booths (yet?). Still, Venezia delivers the cozy charm and delicious eats we've been craving on this side of the river.

Don't waste your money. #1 the red sauce is terrible. #2 The red sauce is used for almost all the dishes. #3 it's so loud in this restaurant you have to yell across the table like the rest of the tables to talk to the people at your table. Just nuts. #4 nothing is worth what they are charging. I was told the steaks are to die for, I will not be back to find out. Finally, when I say it's loud, trust me the other tables must be deaf people, literally yelling. If you don't enjoy talking to the people at your table then it's perfect. Ear plugs recommended. We use to eat at Tony mandinas almost every Friday.

I was very disappointed on the food quality overall. It's was not the same as mid city locations. Stuffed mushroom didn't looked too good so I didn't eat at all. Pizza was ok. Spaghetti n meatballs is not a true Italian taste dish. Order fettuccine with breaded chicken was cooked in oil that the breading on the chicken breast was super dark. Italian sausage was dry. I was very excited about them coming over to the westbank and take over Tony's location. Love supporting the local business. I have to admitted the staff and ambiance was pleasant. I hope they will improve on the quality of their food. Wish them well!

I did a take out order and our food was ready in record time! Every thing was FRESH! We didn't eat until about an hour or so after the food was picked up and it still tasted really good. I will be back for more. The salad was the best!

We went for lunch. I ordered the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were over cooked, the sauce had way too much lemon. I had a hard time eating it. They don't serve bread and no side salad. We are not going back. If I want Italian I will go to Vincent's.

This was our first and last visit to this restaurant. Service was slow, Entrees came out cold, Veal Parm was burnt. They did remake the Entrees and comped our calamari. Watched them sweep up the floor and never pickup the trash after sweeping.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Venetia's new West Bank location! We did something a little different: ordered a bunch of stuff and passed it family style. If your table is up for it, I def recommend. This way you get to try lots of the menu. But if I were to order two things for sure, it would be the baked ziti and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad is tossed tableside by the cutest and most charismatic young man. The baked ziti was the best I've ever had in my life. I took one bite and swore loudly it was so good! The service was impeccable. The vibes are cozy but I think they have more space here than their other location in MidCity. Def recommend for either a date night or an evening out with friends.

Second time here. Tonight I got the spaghetti and meatballs with a house salad. Excellent. I couldn't stab the meatballs because they would fall apart. The salad tonight was a little salty but the first time I went it was excellent. My girlfriend got the house salad and just the meatballs from the appetizer menu. Totally enjoyed the meal. Well worth it.

I have been dining at Venezia for about 40 years. I have dined at this new location twice since it opened and I give it a solid 4 stars. (Tony Mandina's signage is still posted.) The good: *Parking attendant will welcome you with a smile when you arrive. *The wait staff and bartenders are very attentive, friendly and well trained. They will actually hold a conversation with you. (kudos to management) *Food quality is fresh, prepared very well with a lot of flavor. The way your grandparents cooked. *Grand piano is played at night to make the atmosphere extra special. *My favorite entree is the Veal T-Bone. It arrives at the table on a sizzling hot plate. Improvement needed: *The parking...some patrons will just self park any which way and block others. As mentioned, they have an attendant but only one. *The lackluster Bourbon selection and wish they offered cocktail cherries with an old fashioned. I hope to enjoy this establishment for another 40 years! Support local businesses, Enjoy!

I didn't have super high expectations, but I was blown away by the food a service! The fried mozzarella is a must order and the table side caesar was one of the best i've had. I also really enjoyed the cold antipasto and the prosciutto wrapped melon. We tried the ribeye, the baked ziti, olive oil and garlic pasta and the lasagna. All were delicious, but my favs were the steak and the lasagna. The desserts were also all delicious and would order the cannoli again! it was huge! The atmosphere is also very cute - quintessential old school Italian, and the service was great!
