Y'all know I'm always hunting around the city for a good Cubano and my search took me here. This little stand is located at the Westbank Flea Market and Food Truck Park in Harvey. It's a stand, so you walk right up and order and take your food and eat it and that's how that works. Ha. So, I got the Cubano and sadly, I was a bit underwhelmed. First of all, I did see them actually press it, but the sandwich itself was cold. When it comes to Cubanos, I usually like the cheese to be a little melted into the meat. I'm not sure if they were rushing it because I was their only customer and they didn't want me to wait, but I don't mind waiting for melted cheese and a sandwich that's somewhat warm. I have to be honest, I didn't think that it was quite worth the $10 price tag and I would have liked a little more pork on this. For lunch it was fine, but I wouldn't rush back over to get it again. The staff was super friendly and I know that the place is new, so they are probably just getting into their groove. I'm going to wait a few months and go back and give them another try.
