Check in and out was a breeze! I pre paid through Ticketsatwork. The front desk clerk was less than enthused about my inquiry on where to dine lol thank goodness she was nice tho! I get my room key and make my way up to my king suite. I read the reviews saying how the suites were small, but my suite was very spacious. The only complaint I have with this entire hotel was the two spots of mold in the shower. The reason I even mentioned it is because house cleaning came and cleaned the room. They went into the bathroom to replace the towels, soap, tissue, etc and not once sprayed the mold. I did not eat breakfast there, but it was a nice set up. The lobby was clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again and bring my mold & mildew spray, so I can put up more stars!

The Comfort Suites Harvey 6/19/25 - Made reservations at Comfort Suites Harvey for 2 nights. Check In Thursday 7/3, Check Out 7/5. 7/3 -I tried to get early check in but could not be accommodated. I checked in around 3:00 p.m. I did not go to the room at this time as I had a prior engagement. I returned later that evening at around 7:00 p.m. The room had a very bad odor and the white bed spread on one of the beds had stains that looked like blood. I called the front desk to request clean bedding and was told that I had to come down to the front desk to get it. I left the hotel shortly thereafter for a visit and returned late that night. The odor persisted even though we sprayed quite a bit of perfume in the room. 7/4 - I initially thought that the room smelled bad because it had been closed up without the air conditioning being on before we arrived. This morning the odor is worse and it's plainly mildew. I called the front desk and requested another room. I explained that the room smelled like mildew and that we couldn't stay in this room. She (I believe her name was Mia) stated that she had no rooms available and that I would have to wait until housekeeping finished cleaning the rooms before she would know if another double was available. She said she had other people due to check in that day. I asked how long this would take. She said she didn't know. I asked to speak to the manager. She said he wasn't in. I asked when he would be in. She said she didn't know. I asked for his name and she said Ray. I asked for his last name and she said Rahim. I asked to speak to the manager's boss. She said this is a privately owned hotel so there is no other boss; only the owner. I asked for the owner's name. She said she didn't know; that she had been working at the hotel for 5 years and never met the owner. At this point I decided to check out. While checking out and looking at my receipt, I noticed that my card had been charged for 2 nights instead of 1. Mia said that the system automatically charges the full amount. She said she had let the manager know that I was checking out early and that he would refund my money. My receipt shows a credit balance of $180.29 which is what's owed me. I asked when I could expect to receive my refund. She said in a few days; possibly a little longer because of the holiday. I checked into the Holiday Inn Express next door to the Comfort Suites. 7/11 - I called the Comfort Suites to see when my money would be refunded. The same desk clerk who was present during my stay answered the phone (Mia). She said she'd spoken to the manager and I was not getting a refund. When I tried to remind her of what she told me when I was there, she was very argumentative and rude. She raised her voice, kept cutting me off, and hung up on me. I tried calling back but my call was not answered. Observations: When you walk into the Comfort Suites Harvey, there is a pall in the air. The atmosphere seems dark. The first thing I noticed was a huge delivery pallet right in the front lobby. The second thing I noticed was the unfriendliness of the clerk. Even though someone is at the front desk, you feel unwelcome. There is no greeting, no "may I help you", and you may as well be invisible because the clerk doesn't even look at you. This is the only employee that I saw at the hotel until I was checking out and saw a housekeeper. When I went down to the lobby the morning of 7/4, the clerk was sleeping with her head down on the desk. I have a photo of this. When the lobby entrance doors opened, she didn't stir. The hotel claims to have a complimentary guest fitness center with Youfit, but doesn't. You can tell that the customer is not valued and is not a priority here.

I booked a room at this hotel several months in advance for Mardi Gras 2025. One of the staff members canceled my reservation 2 weeks before my trip and blamed the cancellation on booking dot com. Nevertheless, my reservation was still active and confirmed by booking dot com. Comfort Suites in Harvey Louisiana is untrustworthy and unethical. I will never book with them again.

I booked rooms for Taylor Swift weekend 8 months in advance and I think I beat them at realizing that this particular weekend would be expensive. Six months later, but two months before the concert they cancelled my reservations without telling me or Expedia. I happened to call the day of check in to ask about late checkout and that's when I discovered this - ON THE DAY I WAS SUPPOSED TO CHECK IN. They told me they would not give me my reservation back unless I paid "today's rates." Greedy. Unprofessional. Manager would not return my messages. Expedia could not help me. The hotel staff couldn't even give me a reason why I was canceled, just said some nonsense BS answer and then told me I had to pay more. Oddly enough, they still had rooms available - on Taylor Swift weekend? The day of? REALLY? It was like they were just holding the rooms and waiting to rebook everyone as soon as they found out they'd been canceled. I will never stay at a hotel in this chain again. This was all to do with greed and their lack of planning ahead.

The mold in this place is ridiculous so unsafe health wise the smell is terrible the tv didn't work microwave had mold reported everything no one came to fix or replace anything I was so glad when the weekend was over to check out wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but the staff was sweet the best part of the stay was the workers do better

This place is a blood bath...literally! Blood everywhere in our room, on hold with customer service for over and hour, zero resolve. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep keep looking this is not your place. Plus, the plumbing is coming out of the wall. This is not the vacation we were looking for.

Poor service, dirty, not a great place to stay. With so many other options, please do your self a favor and look elsewhere. Opinion - the types of problems encountered during our stay usually mean poor management of the hotel. Those problems don't improve with fresh paint or new carpet. We arrived late and got checked in reasonably quickly, but the person working the front desk had to be woken up (she was sleeping in a darkened office behind the counter), and then couldn't be bothered to remove her ear buds while helping us. I wouldn't say she was rude, but she wasn't friendly. We made our way to our room to find the door blocked ajar by the security lock. Weird. Went downstairs and asked about it, and she told us that that was how the cleaning staff left the rooms sometimes. Huh. I can't recall a single time in all my stays at other hotels where that happened. She said the room was empty, go on in. Great. One of the weirdest experiences for me. I stay at Choice properties often and haven't seen this before. No toilet paper. One bath towel, one wash rag. Went downstairs again and told the same person. She asked me if I wanted her to get us some towels and toilet paper...no, I just wanted you to know. Ridiculous. Hotel has some work going on. There was a large pile of carpet in the lobby area that essentially eliminated any sitting area. There is dirt and construction debris in every hallway, not sure if they vacuum anything out there. Our room has all the towel racks removed from the walls (maybe that's why we had no towels...). If you are working on a room, don't put a customer in it over the weekend to make a buck. Since I'm complaining, the shower curtain is too short to stay in the tub. The toilet ran all visit. The bathroom exhaust fan sometimes didn't start (just buzzed). The elevator felt like it was going to get stuck (I used the stairs for the rest of the visit). I booked through the Choice website, and in the past I have had good results. I didn't check this hotel specifically because I assumed one of Choice's upper level properties would be good. My mistake, poor experience with Choice and I won't do that again. I have not had this problems with other brands. Something positive...sorry, I got nothing at this point. Never, never again will I stay here. Never. Wondering if I am just a disgruntled guest (the answer is yes) who is difficult to please (this answer is no)? Read some of my other reviews and I think you will find I am generally positive about things. This hotel is a dump due to poor management, you can do better, you should do better, and don't say you weren't warned by me and many others if you settle for this place.

I've stayed here multiple times before they got new owners. Obviously they should have kept the old owners there. The manager is very disrespectful and have arguments with guest as if the guest are wrong. I had set real problems when I check into my room. They had somebody shoe who stayed in the room before me. Stains on the shower curtain, and food inside the microwave that should have been cleaned. The food that was in the microwave had been there for over 3 weeks old. I don't not recommend this hotel at all to nobody who is consider staying here or around the area. Here are the pictures of this horrible site of a hotel.

Here we go. My experience here was not the best. The first night the ac wasn't working so I was sweating bullets all night. Then the second night my friends and I was quoted one price but when we went to check in the person gave us another price and told us you will be alright. No sir we won't be alright because that not the price we were quoted. Some of the staff members were extremely rude and they half ass cleaned the room. Will I ever go back there Hell no. One staff member was extremely nice and he should be awarded for excellent customer service. They price me and my friends paid to stay in this hotel was extremely high. The amount of money we paid to stay there it wasn't worth it. I excepted MUCH more oh and their breakfast was horrible. Don't go find another hotel!!!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES TO MOLD/MILDEW!! Im writing this for your health and wellness. If you want to be somewhere clean and comfortable, please avoid this place at all cost and avoid the horrible mistake that I made. Keep scrolling past the nice fake photos posted by the hotel and look at the difference of photos of moldy microwaves and stains etc. because they are 100% accurate and reflects the current conditions of the rooms. This place is a scam and will not care to refund you even thought the rooms are not livable unless you want to have allergies and are comfortable with living in filth. My first room, reaked of mildew mold and cigarettes, mold on the lamp shades, cracked window, stains on the sheets, mildew smell in the drawers, dirty bath tub, dirty microwave with rust and food crumbs that havent been cleaned in ages. Within 10 mintutes I couldn't breath and had to speak to the front desk which i never had to do in my life at a hotel. They were helpful and kind and moved me to the room next door but It was the same and reaked of mildew to the point where I had a panic attack because of my allergic reaction to the smell causing bloodshot eyes and choked up throat and congestion. I even bought an air purifier in the hopes of making it work but i was already so uncomfortable beyond belief for my health. I wanted to check out but they did not allow it in the system but luckily I was able cancel it via bookings. I checked in at 3 pm and decided to leave by 5:30 pm because it was that bad. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. It's a scam to not refund customers when the business is promoting a fake "comfort" stay and in reality the rooms are worse than a motel and genuinely not habitable for anyone and I'm surprised it's still not shut down.
