The place is bit out there but does have good seafood. The shrimp was good the fried catfish was excellent. The hush puppies were a little doughy but still had a nice flavor. The star of our rank time was the garlic cream pasta which has layers of flavor all wonderful. Find something you old that includes that and you won't be disappointed. The service is friendly and good. The place is clean but a bit noisy so be prepared.

Um, I see they got a face lift, but what's the trade off? Poor service and lower quality of food? It just didn't hit this time around and even the locals we came with would agree. Plate presentation wasn't even the same from our first visit. I didn't take any pics because I was hangry haha. After this visit, it was a consensus that we wouldn't be returning. The food was different and didn't hit like it used to, and service was spotty. It's too bad that this used to be my favorite place to come to whenever we're in town.

Visited the NO from California and was recommended this spot by some folks in town. For some reason, I can't put a half star because I wanna give it 3 1/2.. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, but the people were very nice and the service was good. I know it's their style, but I don't get the pasta with a lot of dishes. My niece told me I should've substituted the pasta for rice so remember you can do that if you don't get down with the pasta like I didn't .

A delicious place for dinner with amazing seafood options. It's right by the pier. Free parking in their designated lot (make sure you see the sign for the restaurant in the lot). The chilled Willy was too sweet for me, too much syrup, despite being a fan favorite. The best entree had to be the redfish pontchartrain. The fish had a firmer texture than the catfish and came with angel hair in a crawfish garlic cream sauce. The sauce resembled an Alfredo, I'm not sure if I was supposed to taste hints of crawfish in the sauce but I could see little bits of the tails in it. The stuffed grilled catfish was pretty good too. Came with a big piece of fish that melted in your mouth and easily broke. There was plenty of shrimp too. The stuffing was okay, not sure if I could taste the crabmeat in it though.

This was my first time at the Metairie location. This location by far is better than the one on Lapalco. It was super clean, open and airy and the staff was very friendly. I had the most delicious chargrilled oysters of my life. They came out hot and bubbly. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. The pasta with stuffed eggplant and crabmeat dressing was also another standout. You can not go wrong here. Everything on their menu is delicious You will not be disappointed.

A first for me. Somewhere in New Orleans that I didn't care for the food too much. We arrived after the Bayou Classic and was told the wait was 90 minutes. Most parties left before getting seated so it didn't take us that long to get a table. The hostess was working her butt odd and did a good job. Our server was working hard too and was so sweet. Inside is typical. Nothing special but the have a nice patio which could be very helpful when there are long waits but they need to put a heater out there. We ordered voodoo crawfish rolls as an appetizer. They were the best thing I ate. I got the pecan catfish with a loaded baked potato and he got the fried seafood platter with onion rings. I would rate my food as just ok. I was impressed by the menu description but taste wise was a total fail. The potato was not done all the way through, nor was it hot enough to melt the hunk of butter in it. His food was decent. The fried shrimp I tasted was pretty good but they don't clean their shrimp (they even tell you that on the menu) so I wasn't ordering shrimp. Food came out fast. That was a bright spot. Overall, this is a spot I don't have to visit again.

First time to this eatery. Was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. This restaurant did not disappoint. We had a part of 6 adults and with about 45-50 minutes on a busy Friday night. Plenty of other groups there especially for graduation gatherings. Food was great. Service was great. Hostess was good. Food may have came out a bit slow but to be expected in a busy night. Ambiance is a bit noisy but to be expected for this type of eatery.

The wait time is not what was quoted. Was told it would be an hour but it was an hour and a half. It's been a while since we visited but overall the experience was a 4/5 for us. The food remains good. I did have to send back my voodoo egg rolls because half of the order had nothing but cheese in it lol, no ma'am for the cost. The second time it arrived fresh and fine. Great drinks from the bar.

I can't stop talking about their gumbo and fried shrimp. I've never had gumbo at a restaurant that I liked until now. That's all I have had from this restaurant but it's enough. Can't get back there fast enough! The fried shrimp was so crisp and hot but not over cooked.
