Our group included coffee snobs, food snobs, a picky 11-yr old, and beignet aficionados. Surprisingly good on all counts (sandwiches, coffee, specialty drinks.) Surprising because, being from the East Coast, I was girdling myself for a Cafe Nero or Starbucks kind of sadness. No worries, this is a happy place. The beignets were awesome. Were they as good as Cafe DuMonde's? I I kinda think so.

I'm so happy this place is open. I commute early and drive a few miles on the Westbank Expy so to have a place on the side that I'm traveling on open so early is great! I wanted a "coffee" place to get my morning coffee from and now I have one. Some far, the service has been great and fast. There are several menu items from drinks to breakfast items that I look forward to trying.

I drove by and saw a now open sign. I stopped by to get some beignets for my son and tried the granita. My son liked the beignets but my granita tasted very bland. I am used to drinking an expresso frappuchino so maybe that's why it wasn't strong enough for me. The service is ok. I walked in and a girl was sweeping and just stared at me and the guy cashier was taking my order and started talking on his head piece and walked to the back and then came back to take the rest of my order. I understand it might be their soft opening but at least a greeting would be nice or a suggestion on what to get. I will give them another try since it's close by my house and they just open.

Afternoon treat of beignets and coffee. This was our first beignet order since moving to Louisiana, and what a treat! Order includes 3 beignets covered in powdered sugar, served hot and fresh. Reasonably priced. They were not as dense as some we've had in the past, and were not very large, so great to go with coffee or as a treat. Ambiance is casual and open with lots of natural light. No table service, but they will clean up your powdered sugar after you leave. :)

I really really want to like this place. I truly do. It is a convenient location. Great ambiance and health code score. Friendly customer service. It is not the SB place. What is not to love? The product. Unfortunately the only reason to stop. Coffee has a particular taste. You add sugar cream flavoring to your taste. You order a specialty coffee to your taste. Why is it that the last three times we have stopped. The vanilla latte. Tastes like all the other coffees we ordered. Caramel. Mocha. Vanilla all uniquely different t tastes and scent. Yet all 6 cups taste exactly the same. Burnt and bland not tasting anything like the flavoring we had requested. The overt taste of burnt coffee camouflages any flavoring it may have had. On the menu items it is a crap shoot odds are 50/50 if you will get fresh or stale. The blueberry was fresh. The banana nut was stale hard and dry. For the price of 2 large coffees plus the gratuity. It is getting harder and harder to justify stopping here just to have the dream of a good cup of coffee burnt to a crisp. Like I said in the beginning I want to like this place I really really do. But you gotta work with me on it. I just want a great cup of coffee from a place that is marketed to be a coffee shop.

Tried it out because it is super close to my neighborhood and I was not disappointed! The service was very nice and it's a pretty good place to go to when studying. It's not super loud which is nice! They have about 5 tables and couches for people to sit. I got the bacon, cheese, and egg biscuit and it was a bit dry and over cooked but still pretty good! I personally just really like the interior as I'm always looking for cute places to study . In terms of drinks I got an iced tea with no sweetener but they have so many interesting drinks that I need to try next!

My coffee was VERY SCRUMPTIOUS, and it was made very quickly!! The customer service was amazing, the person that made my coffee Rebekah was really nice, and deserves a raise.

The coffee there was okay but the girl working there was genuinely one of the rudest people I've ever met. Why get a costumer service job if you cant even properly interact with people. I've been there before and was never treated that badly.

their food and drinks are well made, even better than other restaurants in the chain. i usually go to the one in downtown BR , but the service here was way better and the food and drinks were much better as well. The lady at the register was very polite and was quick with the order. the overall ambiance and of it was very calming and chilled out. they also have a wide variety of pastries and drinks. i definitely recommend this location if your looking for a nice cafe to go to!
