This place is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! I even tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the lady behind the desk in the morning had such a nonchalant, nasty attitude, I was like yeahhh naw! Got to this place super late because my flight was extremely delayed. I arrived at almost 2am. It was already some sketchy stuff going on outside and in the hallways but I just went to my room. As I'm standing in the room I'm already noticing that the floorboards they put down are coming up. The tv barely works - it turns on but is super glitchy.... Every few seconds it's glitching and buffering. I sit my things down to start grabbing clothes out of my luggage and there is A ROACH, calmly walking to the bed. Normally the lights or noise make them run - not this one. It kept calmly walking and proceeded to CRAWL UP THE BED! I almost SCREAMED!!!! I grabbed my things and went to the front desk and told them about what happened. I got moved to another room on the opposite end of the hall. At this point, it's about 3am. This room was much nicer in appearance. I turned on all the lights and checked around. I didn't see any activity but did notice random a few substances and debris by the back of the bed and behind it. Whatever - I just wanted to sleep. I laid down in ALL OF MY CLOTHES. I woke up around 730/8 to use the bathroom and immediately stopped because there was a HUGE ROACH ON THE FLOOR taking A NAP!!! I started packing my stuff to leave bc what the heck?!? As I was getting ready to leave, THE ROACH STARTED TWITCHING AND MOVING!!!! ABSOLUTELY REPULSIVE!!! I went back to the front desk and told a man there that I wanted do check out early because I was supposed to be there for two nights. He asked what happened and I explained. He went to get a lady and when she came down and I told her what happened, she was very careless and nonchalant. And I'm sure that's because they're used to the filth. I asked her could I be refunded at least for the second night since I was leaving after only a few hours she said no and then pretty much proceeded to walk off. I hurried up and left because I wanted to go off on her! I would highly advise to stay away from here. Video and pictures of the last roach from the last room are included lol absolutely ridiculous. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I feel like I need a doctors visit for a tetanus shot after being here.

Cancelled reservation well before deadline - the hotel has ghosted me and will not refund my money. i have contacted Wyndham corporation and they have not been helpful this hotel is giving Wyndham a bad name. I have contacted the front desk and the manager always seems to be out. terrible customer service

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean but had an old wood smell to it. The bed was comfortable. It was a little bit far from the main attractions so we rented a car. Overall it was enough for us. The selection of continental breakfast wasn't great though. Very slim pickings.

Young lady that checked us in was rude. The 3 gentleman were nice. We needed to switch our rooms upon check-in, she gave us a room that stunk and had old furniture. The other rooms with the new furniture were nice. HUGE DIFFERENCE, SAME PRICE. NONETHELESS we left a tip in the room and gave them chocolate Mac nuts. Area seemed scary, but perfect for attending a college graduation 2 minutes walking distance away.

do not stay here! it is roach infested and they will not give you your money back! my contractor had a horrible experience with them running all around him. he left that night and they still won't give me my money back! roaches everywhere. rude staff. horrible management

The reviews for this hotel had be prepared for a negative experience. However, I needed something inexpensive in this area, so I went ahead and booked it. I was actually delighted at the room itself. It wasn't as dirty as I expected, and wasn't a bad room at all. However, there were many things broken or falling apart: door handle broke off, light fixture falling and dangling, TV remote broken into two pieces. The entire hotel has a "smoke" odor even though it's a non smoking establishment. The breakfast was very minimal with only toast, muffins, cereal, apples, and coffee. They wouldn't allow me to have a later checkout time, even though I didn't even check IN until after 2am. Overall, not a horrible hotel, as long as you're not expecting much.

Go in with low expectations and you still might be disappointed. We stayed here over the week of New Year's mostly because it was significantly cheaper than anywhere else. It's about a $10-12 Uber ride to the French Quarter, so pretty manageable. The staff couldn't find my reservation under my legal name "Gregory"because it was under "Greg." I don't know how hard it was to put that together, but it took almost 5 minutes to figure out, and even then he only got,it because I showed him my reservation confirmation email. After we walked in, the whole place had a light fragrance of skunk weed wafting in the air. Although our actual room didn't have the light cigarette smell others mentioned, we could definitely smell the weed. The room was pretty clean. I was surprised to see no carpeting on the floors, and a wood laminate instead. I'm sure that's much easier for them to clean. No bugs or stains on the sheets or anything. The free breakfast is nothing to write home about: bananas, cereal, bagels & some breads. Great if you're on the all carb diet. We had a kitchenette in our room, which would have been great to cook up some bacon and eggs to supplement the protein-free breakfast options, except there were no utensils, pots/pans, plates or cups. It kinda makes the whole kitchenette thing pointless. It's not terrible if you just need a cheap home base to stay, but if I had it to do over again, I would have probably shelled out the extra $125/night and stayed in the French quarter

I wouldn't ever stay here again. I stayed Friday to Saturday. I checked in went to my room (no elevator) on the second floor. Pulled back the sheets like I always do, and no bugs. They had stains but I just looked past that. I go into the bathroom and there is a huge stink bug thing. I'm not sure exactly what it is. I tried to call down to the front desk but it doesn't work. I walk downstairs let the front desk know. She was nice and apologized. She gave me a different room. I get my stuff packed back up from the first room and go to the second. I look in the bathroom first then I lift up the blankets on the bed, and there was a spider. At this point I'm annoyed. I go down to the front office again, because the phone again will not call down to the front desk. She apologizes again and lets me know that they are trying to fix the crack head people from coming in and bringing the bugs with them. She gives me another room which is now downstairs. So I carry all of my stuff downstairs. This room didn't have any bugs (that I could see at least) I could tell she was just a worker so I'm not sure she could give any discounts or not. That was the first day. Saturday comes around I get a knock on the door, I'm assuming it's the manager by the way he was acting. He asked me when I was checking out. I told him Sunday. He's like "ok so are you going to come pay for another night?" I told him no I already paid yesterday for both nights, he keeps telling me I didn't. I told him when I'm done getting ready I will come to the front desk. At this point I want to flip out, number one because he was rude, number two because of the stuff I went through just to find a clean room. I go to the front desk show him that my credit card was charged and he's still telling me I have to pay for another night it's not showing I'm the system that I paid at all. I told him to talk to the girl from yesterday and I shouldn't even have to pay for the room because of how dirty they are and the fact that I had to change rooms three times. (I said that about three times, and the manager didn't acknowledge anything i was saying) The girl came in and said I did pay. And I'm like ok so do you need anything else from me and the girl says no you are good. The guy doesn't apologize for anything. Doesn't offer a discount. NOTHING. I will not stay at any days inn again after this experience. And suggest NO ONE stays here ever.

The area is kind of sketchy and when you're first checking in, it feels a little sketchy too but the room was surprisingly pretty nice! I stayed here for three nights with my boyfriend, I would probably stay here again as long as I wasn't staying here alone.
