Vi kom förbi den sista maj. Alla deras dumplings och baos är hemlagade. De flesta ställen gör dem inte i huset längre. Vi beställde ett par olika stekta dumplings, gurksallad och ångfläskbao. Min dotter älskade fläskbao. Dumplings var bra. Drack ett par olika lokala öl. Vi älskade snö ärt tips, nötkött chow kul och char siu stekt ris. Servicen var också bra. Skulle definitivt återvända. 

Så bra var det att vi åkte tillbaka nästa dag. Den här gången provade vi deras xiao long bao. För er som inte vet, dessa våra kinesiska soppknyten. De var utsökta. Vi hade lite snöärtstips igen. Min svärmor älskar kranhatt kinesiska grönsaker. Vi åt också lite oxägg och stuvad nudelsoppa. 

Jag rekommenderar denna plats om du vill ha några stora autentiska kinesiska mat.

Efter flera måltider bestående av svärtade räkor, kungsfisk, jambalaya, gumbo etc etc. Vi ville verkligen ha något lite lättare och annorlunda. Det här passade perfekt. Det ligger strax utanför Royal Street, i hjärtat av de franska kvarteren. Utrymmet är bara tillräckligt stor, mycket avslappnad. 

De gör också hot pot, om det är vad du letar efter. Det slutade med att vi beställde gurka kryddig sallad (generösa portioner och läckra) , General Tzos kyckling (mycket kyckling, mycket mör och bra smaker) , även fläsk shu mai ( 4 i en steamer, det var bara genomsnittliga) . Kom med ångat ris. 

Bara en anmärkning: om du ber om vatten, kommer de att ge dig vatten på flaska och ta betalt därefter. Det slutade med att vi bara bad om bordsvatten, det fungerade för oss och sparade några dollar. Bra och vänlig service. Snabb måltid och vi var in och ut, redo att utforska området efter vår middag.
