When you're in New Orleans, it's almost mandatory to do a ghost tour. We booked our ghost tour in the evening just so the vibe could feel more "spooky" and it was worth it. What is better than being in NOLA listening to haunted events while the sun was going down? Our tour guide was great. She was very detailed and very knowledgeable of everything that was discussed. The tour was about 1.5 hours long which was the perfect amount of time in my opinion. We went to numerous buildings that surrounded the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. My favorite spot was seeing the house in the Coven season of American Horror Story. I feel like your trip is not complete if you don't do one of these tours!

I took this ghost tour on a Sunday evening and unfortunately, it was one of the worst tour experiences I've had. The entire thing felt chaotic--multiple groups overlapped at the same stops, crowding sidewalks and creating confusion. There was very little history or context given, and what was shared often felt vague or incomplete. A big selling point of this tour is that it's "the only one that goes inside haunted locations." At the first stop, we just sat in a courtyard with no clear explanation as to why it was relevant. At the second, we were led into a dilapidated, abandoned house that the company is leasing. We were told vaguely that construction workers mysteriously abandoned the site, but there was no actual backstory to support any haunted claims. It ended up just being a group of slightly drunk tourists wandering through a dangerously run-down house knocking on walls to spook each other. It felt gimmicky and unsafe, and frankly, like a waste of time. The guide also talked up a "special" courtyard that turned out to be completely unrelated to the tour content. We got no history on the property or its connection to anything paranormal. We also passed several buildings that clearly had historical significance, but nothing was mentioned. I even asked a couple of basic New Orleans history questions--and the guide didn't know the answers. To her credit, the guide did finally give a compelling account at the LaLaurie Mansion near the end of the tour. Unfortunately, it was undermined by conflicting details--she had spent the last 30 minutes building tension around the third floor, only to tell us it wasn't part of the original structure and didn't exist at the time the atrocities occurred. Overall, the tour felt disorganized, uninformative, and full of missed opportunities. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a real historical or paranormal experience in New Orleans.

We did two different tours on two separate nights with this company. Mind you, this is the 3rd time we've done the pub crawl tour and our 2nd time with DJ as our guide. My 5 stars are for the pub crawl with DJ as he is the reason we booked it the 2nd time so our friends could have the opportunity to take the tour for the first time since we loved it so much our first go around with him as our guide 2 years ago. He keeps it real and doesn't sugar coat any of the vile history and makes it very informational. You'll be paying attention even if you're sloshed. Will definitely be taking this tour any chance we get when we're visiting NOLA. Sadly, the combo vampire, voodoo, ghost tour was a different story. Only deserving of 1 star at best. We did the combo tour with Carrie and unfortunately decided to dip out before the end of the tour. Our group was 20+ people which is not ideal and that's on the company for making the guides work with that many people. However, Carrie was incredibly soft spoken for how many people were in the group, you could barely hear her. 90% of the tour was about the history of LA and 10% spooky stories and the stories that were told were just hearsay and not actual historical occurrences. Kinda a snooze fest compared to the other tour. The pub crawl tour is a 10/10 though so i'd recommend booking that instead. Bonus points if you get DJ as your guide.

So MANY do not believe. I do. I've encountered the supernatural. I've seen ghosts. I've felt them. I've spoken to them since I was a child. The tour was more historical to me than spooky. I learned SO much and I RESPECT the request of our Guides to always respect those laid to rest where we visited. Yes I felt presence and no I didn't see anything THAT time. But the Charity Hospital Cemetery was touching BEYOND belief to me. I will absolutely be watch the documentary. And I am SAD and ANGRY that Charity Hospital was closed. Because it left a hole in NOLA. I enjoyed this tour thoroughly. Our guide was funny, ironic, provided history and laughter. The bus was COLD AC and oh was that welcome the last weekend of May!!! Ice cold. Highly recommend. Skeptics try it out. My only disappointment was not being able to walk the grounds anywhere but Odd Fellows Rest.

Too bad cannot leave zero stars. Gomez will let you know what a great guide he was, but from direct experience, his tour guide skills do not match his ego. The tour was a boring history lesson with lots of trivia about how Gomez participated in this movie scene or contributed to that tv show. To top it off Gomez opened and closed with public shaming about tipping. Gomez is as big a pile of garbage as this tour.

The young lady we had on his tour is phenomenal. She really gets you wrapped up in the the history of nostalgia of New Orleans. I highly recommend a tour. It's fun and eventful. It's a must.

Now there are a number of companies that do tours in the NOLA area, and most have a variety of looks. On the New Orleans Ghost Adventure Tours we took. we had a number of choices, but went with the adult-only cemetery tour at night. This was fun. Since NOLA has a number of its famous aboveground cemeteries, your tour may not be exactly the same. Ours visited two: the Katrina Memorial and the Odd Fellows cemeteries, both at the end of the Canal Street trolley in the Navarre district. The Katrina Memorial cemetery is really a much older facility that was pressed into extra duty with the Katrina tragedy. For example, the older parts of the cemetery have Yellow Fever stories, while the Katrina stories involve unidentified people from the hurricane. The Odd Fellows cemetery was really eye opening, as we were able to see old aboveground plots and hear the history and culture behind that experience. We also got to see inside an empty one to understand how they were built and used. This tour gives you a little of the history of burials in NOLA. Highly recommended tour, and a must do at night. Our tour guide was Scott ... get him if you can ... top drawer guy.

Right I've been on plenty of ghost tours, I've even been on one in NOLA already! This was just such a bad tour I feel bad for the person who led it. It had. Bad start as well with the tour group calling me 10 mins before we had to be there demanding to know how long I'd be. I was 2 mins away and was so stunned by the attitude. When I arrived she was acting fine so maybe she was having a moment of stress. We've all been there. To spare you the details of the actual tour (mainly because we didn't learn or hear anything of note) by the end of it our whole group were bored and dissatisfied whispering amongst ourselves (note that none of us knew each other). There was actually a girl on the tour giving groups of us little tidbits about the area which were so much more interesting and engaging than the guide was giving. I stuck around at the end to listen to this girl (who's meant to be on the tour) actually give us a history lesson on the area around us. I don't know if the guide was new but my recommendation for anyone looking to tour is either pick another company, or pick a session during the day. There was at least 20 other groups out and about at 8pm which makes me think they are short on staff options for that session.
