This place is the best of the basic. **Cash or check only!!** If you're looking for a resort experience, skip it, you'll be sad, but if you're looking for a no-frills, laid back, business-on-a-handshake place, this is for you. $50/night, checkout at noon, $3/hour if you're late getting out, after 5pm you owe another night. That seemed perfectly reasonable to us. Discounts offered for members of travel associations like AAA, and several others I don't remember. The owner is a friendly man named Curtis who several guests described as very helpful. He wasn't around when we pulled in, but there are envelopes and instructions on site. Basically you fill out your standard info, put the cash or check into the envelope and drop it through the hole in the door. Spaces are pick-your-own based, and make yourself at home. We loved it. It's located a little farther away from the French Quarter, in a neighborhood that is clearly a bit tired but we felt plenty safe, and our Lyft was well under $20 at all times of the day (only $15 for us), and it's quiet here. The spaces are basic slabs and a pedestal with 30 and 50 amp options. There is grass between the slabs, and a few shady trees about, but expect to be in the sun. I'm giving 5 stars because although it's a little tired and off the beaten path, it was clean, quiet, AFFORDABLE, and exactly what we needed. Plus, pretty much everything wrong can be fixed with a truckload of gravel (secure your loose stuff well). I don't know when we will be back, but we will come right back here when it happens. Great place to stay while in New Orleans. 15 minutes from French Quarter. Management is good

It is located in an insecure neighborhood which should not be explored after dusk. The owner himself advised me not to visit a store located less that a mile away. I would not advise single RVers or those with families to stay at this location due to the risky happenings that go on at dusk and later. The owner also does not have a contractual agreement and makes up the rules as he goes. I paid for a month up front, but after the constant uneasiness I felt I relocated after less than a week. I advised the owner I would be leaving and would pay for the days I had stayed, and his reply was he would not refund any amount of the months rent; on the envelope I signed it did not say that they do not offer refunds. He kept the entire months rent and told me, " that's too bad". The customer service was unbelievably poor especially to be a Good Sam member.
