Good location for various needs both business and pleasure in New Orleans. Walking distance to WW2 Museum and French Quarter. Many restaurants on same street. There is no breakfast here atypical of Residence Inn, nor any social. Valet parking is super expensive. Our room was great, just what we needed. Kitchen was perfect. Bathroom was decently lit but did not have a makeup mirror. Y'all, this room was quiet! Blessed! Overall, good stay. Pricing was typical for the brand. Service was average. Happy with my room, fitness room, and amenities. We got good sleep!!

We were staying here for a few weeks and had all the amenities of a studio apartment which was fairly nice. The people that work here are great yet the upkeep of the place is not so much. The staff are generally friendly and although my boyfriend was here for a few weeks, the housecleaning decided to stop by after 2 weeks of his being there. It was easy to request items to be sent to us if we were out or anything. The lobby seemed to have a mini mart if you were out of anything & there was a mini mart across the street if you needed anything as well. There's secure access to the gym on the 3rd floor & the laundry on 2nd floor: both really easy to use & readily available. Our room was on the 13th floor which was nice yet some of our room was not working to its best condition. You could park there yet its valet only.

I had a fantastic stay here. The room was clean and spacious. I love that there is a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The location of this hotel is the best! It is near the streetcar and convenient for walking around too. My only complaint is that two hours before checkout, housekeeping entered my room twice while I was trying to sleep and then shower. So I recommend using the privacy sign and the door security latch. Aside from the housekeeper issue, everything else about my stay here was great!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS!!! I stayed here in September of this year and prepaid my entire reservation. Fast forward I happen to see 2 unauthorized charges on two separate credit cards. one charge was for $10 and the other $80. I made no purchases while staying there at the hotel. I called the hotel and was on hold for so long. Apparently it takes more than 20 minutes to check in a guest because I spoke to MIKAYLA who kept putting me on hold and speaking with attitude. She couldnt do anything and so I was informed that the manager will contact me with the information I gave her. I am just really upset and this really left such a bad experience. The hotel is nice but its so dam hard to get a hold of a simple request during your stay. I am not happy to see these unauthorized charges that I did not make. Please everyone be aware of what is being charged by this hotel because they will bill you for something you did not purchase and charge you AND not know about it!! I will be contacting the GM and disputing these two charges if its not reversed.

I was on the 14th floor for two nights this weekend in a nice king suite. Unfortunately the sound from the elevator left us sleepless for the two nights. And get this, our room wasn't near the elevator, it was several rooms down the hallway from the elevator; shocking. We heard constant clicking and other noises coming from the elevator shaft, it never stopped. We spoke to the front desk, but they were useless. And that leads me to advising you of another huge issue here, the front desk staff. It didn't matter who I spoke to at the front desk, I was treated like a second class citizen, not a loyal paying Platinum Elite customer. Over the years I have stayed at many hotels and I have "never" experienced such a poor treatment and attitude from each of these ladies at the front desk, and Jasmine was the worst. Wayne, the GM has a lot of work to do here with the customer service provided, or shall I say lack thereof. As a result, I refuse to come back to this location due to these serious issues.

I am always a fan of staying at Residence Inn hotels - as I like having the full length refrigerator for groceries, microwave for leftovers, and that general overall feel of staying in a 'studio' type suite. This was my reason for choosing this hotel for my trip. Upon check in on Thursday -the lobby area was very beautiful, with decorative Mardi Gras masks on the wall to greet us. I was informed that I wouldn't be able to get an upgraded room (although I am Platinum Elite), and that the only room available would be on the 11th floor. Okay - no worries, it happens (even though odd on a week day). Once arriving to my room - it had a slight smell of cigarette smoke, which I am not a fan of at all. It was a nicely sized space - and had all the amenities I expected (fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc.). I go to look out at the view - and it is literally a giant parking lot that I see. I mean I couldn't even get a view? I go to turn on the living room lamp - only to discover that it doesn't work and there's no light bulb. Okay - I go to put ice in the bucket - and it has a bunch of rust on the lid, and on the table under the tin. The remote control is also horrible - it is super slow and doesn't work as you'd expect - and the TV's glitch and freeze at times (my friends who were staying in two other rooms had that same experience). Overall - pretty disappointed in the room and availability for someone who's Platinum Elite and for a hotel that was just built in 2019. As far as housekeeping - our second day there - we noticed that they never came by. I asked the front desk, they said that we have to request it before 11AM in order for them to come. Would have been nice to know upon check in. So we request they come - only for the bed to not be made, the dishes not washed, and the new bathroom towels and toilet paper they left were folded up and placed in the kitchen (yes, the kitchen). Of the 4 nights there, only one day felt like it was 'fully' cleaned - with a made bed and dishes. Otherwise, not too great in this area either. The downstairs entertainment and bartender were good. The bartender was super friendly and bubbly - and she gave some good recommendations about where to go and check out. Night times from 5 to 8pm, there was live singing entertainment to watch and hear - Brandi had a nice voice and gave a cool RnB vibe. Others have already mentioned - but there is definitely NO free breakfast at this Residence Inn - however there are two spots directly next door (Streetcar Cafe & Daisy Dukes Cafe) in case you're hungry. I do love how close this hotel is to everything - I felt like I could walk everywhere from the French quarter bars, to the WWII museum, Caesar's casino, to the aquarium, etc. Overall, it felt safe at all times. Can't say I would want to stay here again - but if you're just looking for a decent room in a prime location, it isn't the worst place I've been - but definitely not the best.

This was my second time staying at this property. It's a great value and the location perfectly fit my needs. The front desk staff member Jimmy was incredibly friendly. He welcomed me back and thanked me for being a rewards member. The room is very spacious. It was very clean. I've experienced less than ideal cleaning at other hotels in recent stays so this was extra appreciated. The only negative was I was on a high floor and the elevators were slow, but this was not that big of a hindrance to me.

This property is the best in all french quarter the hospitality here is unmatched every single person that works at this property is a class act Maureen the manager was stellar in her responsiveness Jaime Gary and all the other front desk personnel exceeded all expectation. The valet guys were so cordial and welcoming. Both bartenders kept the new orleans experience alive with banter that wasnt forced very organic interactions. The staff was punctual when asked for help . The entire experience was 5star for me. I will only stay at this property whenever i come to NOLA. Residence Inn St Charles you got a customer for life. Nice hotel with a festive lobby decorated with an assortment of Mardi Gras masks. The rooms are clean and very spacious, equipped with a kitchenette and sofa. It's located on a quieter street, but still within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Great room rates! I highly recommend!

Overall it's an OK hotel especially if it's used for sleeping and showering. It also seems there's not much investment back into this business. The elevators are painfully slow, there are three but one is out of service and there are lines to use the remaining two. My room was OK but rough around the edges, I'm guessing because it's a room reserved for people who use services like Hotwire. The couch had stains on it, the shower had rusted elements which made the bathroom feel unappealing and unclean. The bar also just had weird hours, which is a nit pick. If the other elements were improved I wouldn't care that much about the bar. The two stars are from the room layout and amenities and the gym is nice.
