Clean suites, convenient location, impossible parking. I'm only docking a star because of how annoying the street parking situation was, however I had a great stay outside of that. The hotel is conveniently located to the french quarter. I walked pretty much everywhere. I walked to Caesar's, Bourbon Street, the whole 9. I felt pretty safe walking too! The inside was vert clean, and the worker was extremely friendly. I also found the breakfast to be delicious! They had plenty of options, and I know it was good, because a lot of the other guests made the breakfast daily! My suite was very neat, and featured a stove, microwave, full sized refrigerator, and a dishwasher. It really had everything. The sheets were clean, and no signs of pests anywhere. The bathroom was also very clean. I would definitely come here again on future trips to New Orleans!

Clean, very spacious room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walkable distance from the French Quarter and near mini restaurants. No parking in the hotel, but there are lots all around that you can pay for overnight.

Do not stay here! We booked 2 rooms while traveling for a friend's birthday. Upon entering the room was very outdated and was not clean. Everything was old and the carpet had blood stains all over it in both rooms. The toilet seat was broken as well. We asked after 3 nights for housekeeping to clean the room and take out trash, refresh toilet paper and towels. We were told no by Glenn who works the nighttime front desk. We were told because it was an ES (which we didn't know what that stood for) that they don't clean until day 7 which differs from their website. He questioned us needing clean towels. I asked that they come replace towels, toilet paper and take out trash. Someone in housekeeping brought towels and handed us trash bags to do our own trash service. They didn't take the dirty towels or trash. The next morning we spoke to someone else who assured while we were out site seeing they would clean the room and take trash and towels. Again that was not done. We went back down that night after realizing after 2 days of requesting this it hadn't been done yet again. Glenn denied us ever requesting service when I spoke to him the night before. He again was rude and has towels delivered with trash bags. This place is disgusting and the service is terrible.

Saturday 14-December 2024. Training did I mention training. For the cost, directly booking or through any online service Everything should be functioning and operational. Let's start with the FRONT DESK. I honestly don't believe anyone with a sound mind and a confirmed email with reservation confirmation details would be trying to check in! The front desk sets the tone. Don't work in a service industry where you have to be pleasant if you're not capable of being polite. Parking should be included. Adequate towels. decaf coffee. TV is hooked to the property on satellite. Really! You don't have to take just my opinion, read other reviews. Pressure wash your side walks out front. There is so much room for improvement. We traveled here for weekend NFL game to meet friends and family from the Washington DC area. Sonesta Hotel Corporate and Mgrs you can do better. 16-December 2024 departure day. The mgr that was here yesterday evening is back. She's a trooper! Worked a long shift yesterday and back first thing this morning (5:30am) to relieve the other counter staff and smiling. That speaks volumes. I am aware it's a constant revolving door to turn around rooms for the next day, event. But give your employees a bonus and acknowledge the hard work and dedication they are doing to allow your board members to have the hefty paychecks they make.

This Sonesta is in a good location. It didn't start out the best. The valet was rude. No customer service skills. After getting beyond him, the front desk team on night and day shift were really nice. I spent time talking to the night team. They were funny. The check in was easy. I was given survey card to give feedback. I was given and slightly bigger room to makeup for the Valet's bad mood. My accommodation was very nice; my only complaint is the slant to the room. It felt a little weird, especially in the bed and tilting in the direction of the slant. Breakfast is included and it is a typical hotel breakfast. The coffee canisters were empty. There was one person managing the dining area. She was hustling and still very pleasant. I walked to the tour bus depot, French Quarter and another hotel to see holiday decorations. It's a good location to get to a lot with driving.

This Sonesta is just OK! Gets the job done. The room is relatively clean. It's not super spacious but it's nice that it has a table, kitchen area, closet, and an average bathroom. The conditioner pump in our bathroom was broken. They also don't have housekeeping so don't expect them to make your bed, change your sheets/towels everyday because they won't. We encountered an issue where our neighbor left their dog in the room and the dog barked for an hour nonstop. Another issue was that we kept accidentally routing our Ubers to the wrong Sonesta location. Wifi here is pretty decent - I can take meetings just fine. The gym is very bare bones and not kept well. Water dispensers at the gym were empty. The phone in our room was also completely broken. They'll hold your luggage after you check out if you need them to which is nice. They also require key card to enter the hotel which adds a layer of safety. The free breakfast in the morning is average at best. It's toast, eggs, sausages, grits, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea, and that's pretty much it.

Decided to extend my stay here in NOLA into the weekend Check in is at 4PM, if you want to check in earlier that is an extra $50!!! I got here around 1pm and asked if the room I was assigned to was ready and was told that it was but I'd still have to pay $50. Makes no sense! This place was just decent. It's an older building with main areas that have been updated. I had a Queen sized studio bedroom. Bed was comfortable. Large TV with cable. Had a medium fridge and kitchenette set with pots/pans/electric burner/bowls cups utensils etc. Bathroom was no thrills but clean. There's a button on the outside of the door that flashes a light if someone is at your door (like a door bell, but with just lights) There's a place next door called Pythian that has various eateries and a bar. Closet to Tulane and maybe half a mile from a concert hall (like convention center or smoothie king venue) You can control your own heat/air. Not a lot of sockets around the bed. Fairly quiet- although I could hear ppl walking upstairs and the elevators being used late at night. Elevators and downstairs bathroom need key card access, also to get into the hotel after hours. Continental, free breakfast. Cereal, juices, eggs, biscuit, fruit , sausuage etc. Clean dining table area Cheapest hotel for the weekend, and for all of the reasons mentioned above, even though it was $200+ a weekend night. Uber around, don't walk alone late at night. Bourbon street is maybe 15-20 min walk. Good for a quick 2 night stay

I stayed right before Christmas and room was nice,bed was very comfortable. breakfast was decent. Close to the strip and bourbon. My only problem was why charge us right when we get there for partial payments and then come to checkout y'all mess everything up with the payments. No remorse or didn't even try to fix the problem. They definitely need to work on customer service! Highly upsetting.

Average stay with good value if you find a deal, but for extra cleanliness and comfort maybe stay elsewhere Pros: Spacious, good range of amenities included for long stays Comfortable bed Quiet and walkable to FQ; safe citywise and good security measures Breakfast was included and decent, but left a bit to be desired Cons: Stains on floor, bedding, and walls not the cleanest Cleanliness of the couch was questionable and wasn't comfortable No dish soap, no lotion Toiletry dispensers only give a bit at a time, so have to pump several times to get a good amount No safe in room, only security deposit box behind desk Staff could be more friendly and accommodating Unsure of do no disturb policy, as no such sign, only a sign to give more time in the AM; generally undisturbed, but signs the room was entered while out Shower only has an immovable half glass door, therefore you have a wet bathroom floor Toilet paper kept coming off of the dispenser as the dispenser was not properly fastened to the wall

The hotel front desk staff were friendly & accommodating. Kierra was very nice & gave great recommendations. The room was clean. There was a new fridge, microwave, dishes, silverware & wine glasses in the room. The windows were filthy on the outside. The bathtub drain was filthy & it drained slowly. When the bathroom main light was on it was so loud & you couldn't hear anything else! Hallway carpets needed vacuuming. The breakfast was decent & the breakfast area was clean.
