While I rarely review chains/franchises, I need to make it abundantly clear how poor my experience was at this particular subway. Skip it and go to the next, there's always another one. There was no one in the store except two staff, both sitting in the dining area and no one behind the counter when my friend and I walked in. The store was empty and relatively dim besides the light from the windows. We only need two subs (one each), and tried to be friendly. They were talking to each other through the whole order and that made it incredibly difficult for us to have a clear conversation with the person making our food. We had a gluten allergy in our order, and while we understand a place like subway could have cross contamination issues, many subway locations are able to accommodate the allergy, so we asked if that would be possible here. We were told no. I asked if they offered a "salad" or "sub tub" option and if he could just change his gloves after the bread of the first sandwich. He did not. I paid for both items although unable to eat the "salad" due to the staff food handling. They were rude, unhelpful, inattentive, unknowledgeable, and did not deserve the business. Unfortunately I struggle to stand up for myself in a scenario like this so am taking the opportunity to hopefully earn others about this location. Unless you want a sloppy turkey on white, keep walking to whatever your next food/beverage option is.

This place does not how to charge for the subs. They have not been trained at all or if they have been trained - they are a bummer. I presented them a digital Subway gift card and they could not figure out how to use it. Kept saying me do this, do that etc and since it was lunch rush, there was a huge line behind me. So I paid with my credit card. So, owner of this location- please either come sit and take care of customers or train your staff properly. It's the fault of the owners not the employees.

Closing hour is 9pm today but yet I was told as I walked in at 8:50 pm, that they were closed because it was their cleaning time. I told him the business info on Maps says 9:00 pm is the closing tim. The young man said they actually closed at 8:45 for cleaning but when I asked why was the "OPEN" light still on and door still unlocked, he said he forgot. After pressing the issue he finally asked me what I wanted but my mind was already changed by then. I'll take my business elsewhere. I guess cleaning up before actual closing time is more important than serving the customer. Piss poor service.

I stopped into this Subway after leaving the New Orleans Ernest N Morial Convention Center which sits across the street. Never did I imagine that I would visit a Subway location during my visit to New Orleans, but it is the perfect grab while out on the go, plus it is a restaurant I am accustomed to. I ordered a veggie patty sub with a drink, and a bag of lay's kettle cooked - buffalo chicken dip chips. Funny that I have never had these lay's chips, let alone seen them at any of our locations in Chicago Illinois. The employee who assisted me took care of me in a timely manner, taking my order along with preparing it, and taking my payment at the register. I loved the fact that the employee warmed the veggie patty up inside of the oven rather than utilizing the microwave, as most tend to do. It made the veggie patty less soggy and with more of a cooked taste. I cannot say that I had a horrible customer experience nor was it the greatest. Had a great experience at this subway! Was in New Orleans for a conference and needed a quick lunch in between sessions. At a break, ran across the street to find a line out the door. I was impressed with how efficiently they moved customers through during a high volume time! I have never been to a Subway this generous with portions before. My sandwich ended up being gigantic, which is never the case at this chain! Inside was as clean as they could for such a busy time, but I ended up eating at an outside table across the street so I can't speak for more. Staff was friendly, sandwich was delicious, line moved fast, so overall great experience and no complaints!

It's sad that this Subway location is right by the convention center and not equipped to handle the crowds. They locked their door at 2:30 pm on a Saturday. I asked if they were going to reopen and he said lady look at my dining room and locked the door in my face. I guess that meant No.. I would pay double the price and just eat at Tommy G's pizza or just eat in the convention center at least they are prepared and friendly. Choose wisely before spending your money here.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Always have an attitude with all of the customers as if they are being forced to work. I went there one day to get a sandwich and ALL of the workers said they were on break so they could not make my sandwich. Will definitely be contacting HR. Also I asked them what they close one person said 9 while the lady whom I'm guessing is the manager said she "might" close at which I'm guessing is a smart remark.

I walked in and she asked, "Can I help you?" I wasn't certain of what I wanted so I asked the lady to give me a second. As I was reviewing the options, she shouted what do you want? I said."one second and I'm uncertain right now." A minute later she said, "What can I help you with?" In a very nasty tone. I was only there all of 5 minutes and she was very rude to me and hand a disgusted attitude.
