I've came here plenty of times before and today I guess they are training someone new. Even tho two people were watching the guy make my sandwich they never said anything to fix. I couldn't see him making it because they have a metal thing up. I kept having to say can I have some more mayo and more banana peppers. Because he was only putting 4 or very little on. I called to let them know and they said to come back they will re make it. It's 97 degrees out I'm not going all the way back out. I hope they improve their service. I Use to stop by before work and I'd tip cash. Like I paid $40 for two sandwiches chips and cookies. And that's how little turkey and cheese they put. Ridiculous

Subways in New Orleans are a rip off. Expect 18$ foot long sandwiches There are sketchy characters and the food tasted like cardboard

The customer service and sandwiches were terrible! I was overcharged, and there was hardly any meat on the sandwiches. When I questioned them about the charges, they told me to leave! The staff was very rude and tried to take advantage of me!

Slick greedy owners, the daughter informed me she couldn't use my coupons because the scanner was broken i will have to order online. So i started to order online & there location was not available to order & i informed her of that. She said "oh no really". I believe they had intentionally turned off the location services so i would not be able to get a cheaper deal. So sad

Placed order 3 times online and kept getting error message. Went to the store the only person working spoke no English. They ended up charging me for three orders and I never received any sandwiches! Will dispute with credit card company. Stay far away from this location.

I saw, after patronizing this Subway, that it received a "2" rating overall. I agree with the reviewer who said that you shouldn't punish a Subway for being a Subway - we pretty much all know what they are. They are omnipresent. In the 16 years I lived in Asheville NC, mostly big chains were not allowed in the very charming downtown - but somehow Subway had snuck in a ways back. It was many years before you saw any other national chains - and definitely no fast food chains- appear in downtown Asheville And it's unfair to give a Subway a one at breakfast time, because they don't do breakfast. I'm not even quite sure why they were open. I wanted a cup of coffee and I knew in advance that Subway doesn't offer hot coffee. I'm giving it a terrible number over customer service. I don't know if the whole Subway chain has been taken over by Middle Eastern people, but I think it is a databased generalization to say that Indian shopkeepers tend - "tend", I have run into very prominent exceptions to this rule - to be lacking in customer service skills. Clearly, if anybody had ever made any attempt to teach this young woman how to treat customers, it did not stick. When I walked in, the restaurant was completely empty. I saw neither staff nor customers. It's not surprising that they did not have a crowd for breakfast because who goes to Subway for breakfast. And, in addition, this particular Subway I get a 2 rating and may be well known for bad customer service. I called out and the young woman came from the back room. I did not notice right away that she was continuing her phone conversation. When I did customer service in various retail establishments, one of the norms was that when a customer appears you "cut the chatter and scatter." When a shopkeeper is working alone, these days it seems acceptable for them to be talking on the phone to their friends while they are working. It sure never was that way even two years ago when I was working as a front line customer service professional. The way this woman greeted me in her shop was to very strongly say the word "No". I think, in fact, that 80% of the words she said to me in that brief encounter consisted of the word no. I asked her if they had hot coffee. "No." Not "I'm sorry, no" - just no. I held up my reusable to-go mug in front of the soda fountain in order to ask if I could put their sweet tea in my own mug. Before I had a chance to get the question out of my mouth, the young woman said very dogmatically "no!" She sounded like me wanting my dog to not go in the street. I do suspect that some Indian people were born into a higher rank in the caste system and regard customers as dogs. "No, what? No I can't put it in my own mug?" "No you cannot take it until you have paid." "But, when I have paid, am I allowed to put it in my own mug?" I guess she saw no need to bother opening her mouth again, because she did not answer that question. She continued her phone conversation as she checked me out. I couldn't help but notice how friendly and charming she was to whoever she was talking to on the phone. She never thanked me, never said goodbye, never in any way shape or form indicated that she was glad I had come into her shop. Before I left the cash register, I interrupted her precious phone conversation with her friend to say "You are very charming with your friends. It's just customers that you don't like." Thank God to have the outlet to write a bad review when you've just been treated like an absolute nothing of any importance by a "customer service professional". I feel better now and will not let my anger at this woman's casual disrespect of customers leak out with my dog or other people I have to deal with. She may even be the manager, but I doubt it. And I'll bet her manager is someone who absolutely won't care what I just said - except as it might hurt business. It may not be possible for anybody to hurt the stores in business anymore than it already is suffering. But I do hope that my review will help people know to stay away from this stupid store.

I walked in earlier this morning ready to order 3 sandwiches. I was the only one in there ordering so I thought it would take no time for service. I was WRONG. The girl behind the counter looked at me, turned her back to me & started talking to another employee who apparently was on a break. Then a minute or two later she looked back at me, turned her back to me AGAIN & started wiping down the counter. This is not the first time this has happened to me in this store but I guarantee this will be the last. They lost my business & lost this customer forever. Shame on them. Someone needs to teach them what customer service really is.

The Lower Garden District Subway at 2000 St. Charles Ave. is the WORST Subway I've ever been to. I've tried it 3 times since it's conveniently located for me. But it's the same scenario every time. The owners are not only difficult to communicate with, but they are also extremely rude, and "customer satisfaction" is just not in their vocabulary. And they are clueless about Subway promotions including those in the app or email offers. These people should not be working in a business that involves customer interaction. There are so many better choices for a sandwich shop in New Orleans, I really don't see how these people stay in business. My advice ... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
