Jag har besökt den här baren många gånger när jag kommer till NOLA cirka 5 veckor per år för företag. Jag älskade WAWA-bandet, jag tror att det nya bandet suger. De skanky skottflickorna har blivit mer aggressiva och dryckepriserna har ökat. Håll dig borta.

Vi hade jättekul här. Bandet var fantastiskt och MC var väldigt underhållande. Tyvärr var damen med provrörskyttarna på oss så snart vi kom dit. Vi visste inte riktigt vad som hände innan hon hällde ner halsen. Sedan sa hon att vi var skyldiga henne 40 dollar för 4. Vi betalade motvilligt och hon hade nerven att be om ett tips. En annan skytteflicka kom senare och vi frågade hur mycket för intressens skull (eftersom de var hemska skyttar). Hon sa 5 $ vardera för samma som den andra damen debiterade oss 10 $ för. Mycket besviken - men inte riktigt förvånad.

Tillbringade en fantastisk helg i New Orleans den helgen som de heliga spelade Cowboys. Drogs till denna bar på grund av platsen och bra musik. Resten var nedförsbacke. Min man och jag gick in och omedelbart kontaktades av en väldigt trevlig sköt tjej som insisterade på att vi skulle göra ett skott. Jag sa nej och nej igen. Hon tog tag i min arm och "insisterade" på att vi gör en. Hon hällde det lilla provröret i munnen även efter att jag sa Nej flera gånger. Skulle inte ha brytt så mycket men sedan sa hon att jag ÄGDA Hennes 25 dollar. 00. Helt skuggig handling! ! Var försiktig när du går in här om du inte gillar att bli ansluten.
Detta var vår enda negativa upplevelse under hela resan.

Stranden på Bourbon har 3 separata områden, en bar när du går in från gatan, en musikplats i ryggen och en innergård som förbinder 2, samt en liten gränd som förbinder alla 3. Den hade 3 för 1 flaska öl, $ 9. 75 för 1, gör du matte. På natten brinner ett centralt vattenfall på gården och det fanns ett band som spelar i ryggen. Det finns 2 barer i musikområdet med lokala öl, Dixie och Dixie Light. De har en bra inställning, men det kan bli trångt och badrummet är discusting, behöver en immeadiate överhual.

Om du älskar R & Be, Hip Hop och klubbmusik är det bra! Dryckerna var ok, de hade skott men de drev dem lite för hårt. Men jag älskade musiken, bara förvänta dig inte att sitta, eller någon luftkonditionering.

Jag nekades tillträde vid ankomsten men min man togs in mitt framför mig. Mannen vid dörren kollade på min väska och tittade på mig och min vän (vem är en lesbisk och ganska uppenbarligen så) och han skrattade på min bag i mina händer och bad oss att lämna. Så vi satt utanför väntar på min husdand frågar varför vi inte fick in utan någon rimlig förklaring.

Min vän gick ner i allierade mot baksidan där en annan säkerhetsvakt stod och frågade vad det var som hindrade oss från att komma in. Istället var min vän hanterad av vaktnämnden när han spottade och spottade hennes grunder för ett svar. När jag påpekade att min man var inne, gick de in och tog bort min man och drev honom ut ur klubben kraftigt och berättade att vi var tvungna att gå.

Under tiden var jag nykter och tog hand om min man och min vän som åtnjuter sig medan vi var här besöker för ut årsdagen och semester. Oavsett orsaken till dessa säkerhetsvakter beteende var bortom mig (Men jag slår vad om att det skulle vara säkert att säga att det hade att göra med oss som HBT) och jag kommer inte att rekommendera denna plats till någon jag vet som planerar att besöka New Orleans .

Så mycket för öppenheten och vänligheten i denna stad, antar jag att prideflaggarna överallt bara är för show.
