Do I own a dog? No. Do I still go to The Dog House? Yes. NOLA is full of amazing bars and restaurants- but at times they feel like a lot of work, but not The Dog House. It's the purrfect option for when you want to sit back, relax and enjoy yourself. Having a fur friend? Bring them along and everyone wins. There's a large space for dogs to run around, and get their pets on. Outside of the dog zone is seating for the bar which is perfectly stocked with alcoholic and none alcoholic options. As someone who is in her mocktail era I really enjoyed that they had none alcoholic spirits. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and truely made you feel like you were part of the gang. In 2025 it's hard to find a "third space" somewhere you can hangout for a while, talk with friends, make new friends, and really just enjoy yourself. That's what makes The Dog House so great, it's bringing back to third space vibes one drink at a time.

The Dog House is such a great spot! One of my dogs are on the shy side, but even she felt comfortable and happy here while watching everything for the comfort of my lap! The space is super clean and thoughtfully laid out -- plenty of room for pups to explore at their own pace while the humans kick back and relax. The drinks are top-tier (seriously, some of the best craft cocktails I've had in the city), and the vibe is just perfect -- chill, friendly, and full of good energy. They host comedy nights and other fun events that make it more than just a dog park; it's a real community hangout. I also love that it's woman- and minority-owned. You can feel the pride and heart that went into creating this space. Whether your dog is the social butterfly or more of a wallflower, The Dog House is a must-visit in New Orleans.

This bar program is a diamond in the RUFF! I've enjoyed the iced zoomies but the cocktail staff are great for making bespoke drinks too. They've got a lovely food menu that changes seasonally. My faves lately have been the roasted Brussels sprouts and the fried cheese. There's also a variety of sandwiches and even dog-friendly drinks and snacks too! The dog park portion is shaded but also there's plenty of bar and patio seating outside of the dog park.

The Dog House is such a cute little space to bring your dog for socialization AND get delicious cocktails. I appreciate all the safety measures they have too (vaccine check, double gated entry).

YALL!!! I do not have a dog, but this is the place to go love on dogs and also a great place to meet your friends with dogs!! The Jindo sandwich was amazing. The bartenders were all so super sweet and gracious as we asked 20 questions. Lol This is a must place you do not have to go into the dark park or if your dog hasn't been neutered yet you can still sit at the bar in the outside space..

A dog park AND bar AND restaurant?! What more could you ask for?! This is what New Orleans has been missing. I love this place! Decent beer selection and yummy cocktails. Food is actually really good! Service is awesome. These people are great and love love love dogs. You do need to provide your pups information like vaccination records and such to use the dog park but if not you fur baby is welcome to hang out with you on a leash anywhere else on property. You don't have to have a dog to come!!!! That's honestly the fun of it for me. My own dog doesn't like other dogs. I go to have a drink and pet other peoples dogs and it's not weird! Go for YAPPY hour! Support them and the cause!

If there's a heaven, I imagine this is what it is like. A dog park with plenty of dogs running around in a safe environment, dog lovers, great food, and unique cocktails. Lots of fun scheduled events. With or without a dog, it's a great hang. In the summer they are well-equipped to beat the heat - lots of shaded area, fans, misters, turf playground and puppy water park for the pups. Elevated bar overlooking the dog park gives you a great perspective. Food and beverage options for both 2 and 4-legged patrons, and staff is super friendly. Rated 4 paws!

This was the first place my friends and I went to when we arrived in NOLA. Enjoyed the drinks and the food. The guys that were working gave us all sorts of spots to check out while we were in town.
