Incredible food and top-notch service. The ambience is lovely as well! Great for dates, anniversary, and business dinners. Next time we're back to Nola I'll definitely make a reservation here.

Service below average. Set menu which was set to low standards. Table set wrong and owners had to sit at a separate 2 top. Told we could hanging out in the courtyard, then told it was private. Really just not a good showing from a restaurant we had higher hopes for.

Really progressive minority owned business off Oretha Castle Haley. Great happy hour and music. Also cool party rental spot next door buktu. Really like the patio area but it keeps . I can't wait to catch it on a sunny day. The games like checkers look fun to play with a group.

Absolutely love Revolution! It's unpretentious, and for young African American working professionals. When it's not football season, Revolution hosts Sunday Fundays which starts at 3pm and offer $25 drink specials for carafes of sangrias and margaritas. It's always best to RSVP on Eventbrite in advance. The inside bar area has 4 sections that are available for purchasing reservations, along with a decent amount of space to stand and dance for those that don't have a section. Outside, there are two courtyard areas, with large board games like Connect 4 and Jenga. There are always promoted food trucks in front of Revolution on high volume nights because there is not kitchen in house.

The layers of flavor in the gumbo is a "must try" for any gumbo fan. Served in a large empty bowl, but with a quail off to one side. The server pours the hot gumbo broth over the quail. Rice and goodness is the quail and all that is stuffed within. The soup is amazing, again the layers and depth of flavor. Bread might be nice, but would soften the punch of flavor of the broth. Super good stuff here. Not filling as a meal just fyi

So this spot is Real Real Chilled. Straight drinking is being done here. So No FOOD here folks! However, this spot is a Mood. Honey the Play List is A-1!!!! I'm a big R&B fan and so the playlist here I fell in love with...Very relaxed. A Spot that's so far during happy hour is chilled. No hyohy activity here. WARNING! The frozen margaritas are strong and if you catch the between 4-7pm you get them $5. There's good premium liquor selection.

I live a few blocks away and had seen signs for a new bar opening. In the spirit of being neighborly and checking out a new spot, my boo and I walked over to grab a drink at Revolution. It looked like it was winding down and we said, "Are y'all closing?" and the guy at the door said yes. We said, "No problem. Can we look around real quick?" The guy gave us the most blatant up and down and said, "Nah" and turned us away. As we were walking away, we saw the time and realized they hadn't been closing at all, it was still well before their closing hours. So then we were even more perplexed about why we got turned away with no explanation. Very weird and rude. I'm disappointed! This totally could have been my neighborhood go-to, but now I won't be going back :/
