This place is a joke! Management has changed four times since I've been here and it's only been 6 months. The new Manger walks around in a cowboy hat giving out new rules almost everyday. There are pot holes in the parking lot. Grass not cut consistently. Don't rent here you will be disappointed! I moved next door to the others RV park Jude Travel Park.

UPDATE: Wow, well I've never actually been lied about on Yelp but that's nice. I asked management if i could do laundry, I absolutely did not have a tantrum. This is the most bizarre story I've ever heard. Why would we throw our own belongings in the camper? And I believe this manager is trying to elude to us coming back and staying there?? Absolutely not! We stayed 3 days at a beautiful rv park only 8 minutes away called the New Orleans Rv park and marina. I highly recommend others to do the same. The accommodations there are great! Even a restaurant and bar on site! And 24 hr laundry. This manager now refuses to give us a corporate # acting like she couldn't hear my husband on the phone. I assume she is trying to say we stayed there so we can't get money back? The $55 isn't even worth dealing with this level of crazy. I can only assume they must need the money more than us. I even said the lady was nice enough in my original review. Safe to say that's retracted. TRUST ME DO NOT STAY HERE. Original review (unedited): We saw the great reviews on this place so we were excited to stay here. We arrived at about 3:20pm on a Sunday. We thought that it being a gated rv park was a benefit but when we got there and saw the barbwire on the fence, and the surrounding areas, that this was because it wasn't in a good part of town. There were no real amenities aside from the showers and laundry room. The showers were awful. They stunk and there were stains/rust on the walls and floors and everything looked broken. I only took pics of 1 shower room but the other one had a random rubber glove laying in it. Despite the laundry machines looking old and not the cleanest, I still needed to do laundry so I tried to put in a load but was told the last load needed to be started by 3:15pm because they lock it up at 5pm so no one else wanders in to do their laundry for free. The washers didn't have a place to put money in so the front desk needed to collect. If they replaced them with commercial machines, they wouldn't need to lock up the room. Overall, we were super disappointed by this place and we ended up leaving an hour later. The lady was nice enough but said we would need to contact corporate to get a refund. We left a message. But will be disputing charges on our

Unfortunately it seemed like the owners reported our review as false on google and got it removed. So were posting it everywhere now. We recently stayed at Three Oaks and a Pine for three months nor travel nursing. The Owners for this place are god awful. The communication was terrible, there are 3 owners, none even live in the state of LA and when you call to book a reservation you are forwarded to one of the owners at random, so you never know which one you were going to get. We called 3 weeks prior to book our stay, gave the card information and were told we're all set. Called 2 days prior to arriving because we were ahead of schedule, and they didnt even have our reservation, didnt know anything about it because I was talking to a different owner and the first one never completed our reservation like we were told. I specifically asked if they could accommodate us coming in a day earlier and was told it would not be a problem, I clarified that I understood it was a holiday and again was told it was not a problem. We get to the campground after we got the payments settled and low and behold we are sitting at the gate with our camper on the highway. No one gave us THE CODE for the gate and no one was answering the phone to the campground when we tried calling to get the code. Our camper was half sitting in the Highway for 15 minutes. Thankfully another camper that was already staying there opened the gate for us since we were stuck. They couldn't agree on a site for us to be at, they had us slotted for site 10 on our receipt, but there were what appeared to be permanent squatters on site 10. Multiple times Kevin had to come and ask what name the reservation was under because they couldn't keep track of who was staying at what site. We had Kevin who was basically the only onsite staff, call and have then charge our card for the next month. A week later they called my wife 4 times while she was at work because a different owner processed the payment and this owner was trying to collect a duplicate payment because they don't communicate between the 3 owners (which all 3 quoted me different prices for a monthly rate). They kept thinking we were at site 10 when we were at another site. Kevin was great. He knew what to do and where everything was and how it works there. He seriously doesn't get enough credit. He was so nice and accommodating. The campground is fairly small which is fine considering its in the city. What I found most ironic was while booking the reservation (twice) I was asked if our camper was in disrepair or had any damages and they made it sound like they actually cared about what kind of campers they got in there. But when we arrived site 10 that seemed to have the squatters on it, their underbelly was falling out when we arrived and remained that way for the entire 3 months we were there leaving insulation debris everywhere, they constantly had their trash strewn all around their camper, and tied their dog to their door and left it outside but the length of the rope was long enough to completely encircle their camper allowing it to defecate on our site or wherever it wanted and they never cared to clean up after it. They also had some sort of issue with their septic, where they left literal black tank waste on our campsite when it poured out of their waste line. I honestly can't speak high enough of Kevin. That man runs this place and makes sure it is safe. He needs a serious pay increase. Always is doing something productive and helping other campers get situated. There are gunshots that are very close to the campground every single night, throughout the night. The area is extremely dangerous and road laws don't apply here at least on Chef. I could never recommend this place to anyone. This is the absolute wrong area for a campground. Prostitution is very heavy in the area. No law enforcement. So in conclusion if you want to hear gunshots every night, have owners that has no idea what is going on and tries charging you twice, love garbage meaning literal trash around the area (not campground) and arguing neighbors this is the place for you. If it wasn't for Kevin we probably wouldn't have stayed here.

Great campground. Location is right outside the city for a quick 10 minute drive. If you prefer public transportation they did provide very details instructions on how to ride the bus to get where you want to go. Security was not an issue for us while we were there as there was someone sitting at the gate during the day and then it was locked at night. You could not get in without the key code to open the gate. They do have shower facilities but we didn't use them so I can't comment there but they are available. Laundry facilities are on site with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Used these without a problem and no line. There is a railroad at the back of the campground so the closer your site is to site 16-17 the closer you will be to them. We were at the opposite end so we could hear it but it wasn't too loud at any point. Would definitely stay here again!

Sorry, but I have never been frightened in an RV park before staying here. Noises, people walking around the lot, others taking behind the "wall/fence" as well as a train. We left! This is a gravel lot in an interesting part of town. The Lyft drivers had quite a few stories about the neighborhood.. power was inconsistent and we ended up dry docking.

Great find. Great price. Big lots, flat, gravel n grass.. Clean. Gated. Very nice Host and A lot of Great information about places to eat, go, do and use public transport, steps to bus line/trolley , $3 per 24 hrs. On n off everywhere. $.40 discount for Sr. Lol. Easy to get to Nola all times of day. Road the trolley to All the different districts. Just pick up a schedule, you'll figure it out quick. It's been Great without the hassle of a toad this trip. Stayed in back next to train switching station. A lot of noise n shaking going on, but with fans in RV we got use to it. Weather was cool, windy Great! Don't forget to Look for Groupons. Spent 8 days and would stay again.

Giving 4 stars because of the price and kindness we received but I was in between 3/4. Gravel campsites, not much to the campground and the electrical breaker went out twice on me when I ran my AC and Microwave at the same time which is strange and had never happened to me before. Although there isn't much to the sites they were clean. It was practically empty upon my arrival and management sent me a message on my morning of check-out that we could have late check-out if we'd like. Very kind! It was very noisey as we heard the trains from the train yard and cars passing by but as I said the price was great and we dealt with it.

We've loved this place! Retired Military Owned and Operated, Clean and Warm places to call home and make friends. Stayed here with 3 children, the gated & lighted community was welcome, everyone could run around freely, lotsa books and pets to inspire us to slow down and smell the roses! #fulltime5

We were passing through and needed a spot for a couple of nights. It was New Years Eve weekend (+sugar bowl) so all RV sites we're booked except for a couple in the east. This was the better of the two we stayed at. The hookups all worked and the manager was helpful and friendly. Three significant challenges: 1. Adjacent to a train yard so we did hear them (bring some soft music to hide the train clanking sounds). 2. The bathrooms are dated and could be cleaner. If u have high standards, stay elsewhere. 3. Everyone warned us to avoid walking in the east; just too dangerous. When we called they informed us of the train yard so we knew and were prepared.
