Trumpet and drum is such a cute spot to pop into for a coffee and snack or some light work! The coffee is good and the baristas are so so sweet. A few notes, I will say this place is always PACKED so be prepared to wait for a table and if you get easily distracted by noise like me, you may not be able to get serious studying here. OVERALL a great spot and such sweet people!

Stopped in to grab some coffee and pastries before heading out on the day's adventures. Opted for a chai latte and the shroom boom mushroom pastry. I've never had a better savory pastry, I'm still think about it today. I will have to learn how to recreate i- it's a must try. Chai latte was also very tasty and refreshing! Quick and friendly service, and lots of seatings, seems like a good study spot!

I love the atmosphere and it is a great place for getting some work done. I had an apple cider chai from their fall menu and my fiancé had a sweet potato cold brew. The baristas were also super kind!

Decided to expand my matcha tasting and went to trumpet and drum. This is SUPER HUGE cafe with tons of seatings and outlets, packed most of them time. The atmosphere is very cozy with its dim lights and soft music, making u feel very relaxed. Their food menu is very little but the drinks were decent. I tried their new fall item banana pudding matcha, I would give it a 2/10. it tasted very water down and completely lacked the matcha flavor with a tiny hint of banana. Their earl grey matcha was a bit better with a decent ratio, 7/10.

Such a cute coffee shop! It's pretty big, too, and there's lots of seating options in the front but also in a back room. It was really busy when I went- late morning on a Sunday the weekend of Tulane commencement- but I managed to get a couch in the back. Unfortunately, a lot of the pastries weee sold out by this point (the early bird gets the worm!) but I had a praline bagel with cream cheese. Their bagels come from another place, but they were really good! I had the carrot cake latte, which tasted just like the real thing! Such a great treat. Best of all is the atmosphere, it's so cutely decorated inside. It's also great for someone coming solo, there's a little bar for people to work at as well as several small tables, but be sure to arrive early! The only thing was I had to wait forever for everything, and the space around the counter is very busy as the coffee bar is behind people waiting for their orders, so I was constantly dancing around people trying to get cream or throw something in the trash, and I waited for at least 20 minutes for 2 drinks and 2 pastries I ordered.

I got an early grey matcha with oat milk and I loved it! I could taste nodes of the earl grey and and orange which was super good. The matcha flavor itself did not stand out if you are a big fan of that earthy taste. The service was super quick and very nice. The environment is SO cool! I could see myself studying here for sure.

This coffee house has my absolute favorite ambience of all the coffee houses I have been to so far. The space is so inviting and relaxing. There are quaint places to sit throughout the entire mansion like space. There's some chairs and tables set up on the porch and there are couches and leather chairs set up around the fire place in the place. Just when you think you reached the end, it's like Willy Maze from the 90s comes out and chants "But wait! There's more!" and there is much more space. The back porch and garden area is so adorable. They have a side area as well, lined with lanterns as well. The coffee itself was also inviting. Very good, creamy rich flavors. The bathrooms are clean with the funnest wallpaper on the wall. EVerything was clean here and the staff were all friendly. I can't wait to come back and get cozy with a warm cup of coffee.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere here! It reminds me of a library but with chandeliers. I ordered my go to, an iced vanilla latte, but they have some really great specialty drinks on the menu (rotates seasonally). I'm usually not a big pastry person but I tried the Kaya bun with pandan custard and coconut and it was so good!

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker and it was a really cool coffee shop! It was quite busy on a Saturday afternoon, but I was able to still find a seat. I got myself a matcha latte and it was great! The ambiance of this place is cozy and classy and I truly enjoyed it. They also had a free opera show the day I went which was pretty cool to experience!
