As one of the only authentic voodoo shops in the city, this shop is a must-see. (I went on a New Orleans voodoo tour with high voodoo priest Robi who confirmed this was the only authentic voodoo shop.) This place has everything you could ask for-- chicken feet to other protective charms. The employee was friendly and helpful. The inside vibe is immaculate. You must visit this place during your next New Orleans visit!

My friend and I were interested in getting a tarot card reading while visiting New Orleans. This shop was recommended to us by our Voodoo/Ghost tour guide. The shop sells a lot of different items/trinkets with something to appeal to everyone. Unfortunately, my friend and I were tight on time due to a nearby dinner reservation. The shop graciously accommodated us by having two staff members read us individually, at the same time. This was my first ever tarot reading. I've been to a few psychic mediums before but was always intrigued with the practice of tarot. Raven delivered beyond my expectations. She was spot on with everything. She possesses psychic/medium abilities too which came into play during our reading. She both made me laugh and gave me the chills several times. I loved her straight forward delivery. She is very talented. I would absolutely go back to her when I visit the area again. Highly recommend this shop and Raven. My friend also really enjoyed her reading and felt that he hit the nail on the head. $45 for 30 minutes. It's worth it!

I can't speak to the authenticity but as a tourist -- I had a lot of fun in the store -- exploring the different potions, reading the explanations and some of the history- overheard the person speaking about the misconceptions of voo doo and its origins Got myself some things and gifts for my really evangelical Christian' friends I'm not sure how they will react to a mini voo doo doll or potions they'll be scared for sure I can't wait to bring my girl here

I was a little disappointed that I had to wait. It was a 30 minute reading and it was halfway thru when it was my turn. I figured they would make up the lost 15 minutes. The reading was good but we were rushed (15 minutes later they said next person was waiting) that I feel like she wanted to tell me more but we were cut short. I really wish I had the full 30 minutes because I really wanted to hear all she wanted to tell me and I had paid for a 30 minute reading. I would give more stars for Raven but they are booked too closely and I only got half the time.

Everything about this place was magical. I didn't get a reading but was helped by the most gentle, kind person ever. I didn't get her name, but I assume she was the owner. They had an amazing selection- wide variety of items. But for me, it was the energy of the space that spoke loudest. I was so cozy and comfortable here immediately, and felt so at home. I'm not a beginner at all, but I could see this space being a good place for many young spiritualists looking for something to elevate their practice. I was met with the kind of support you'd find from a friend, and that meant the absolute world to me. I will definitely be back to visit next time I'm in NOLA

Best and most positvely engaging , actively welcoming, and energeticly and of course, spiritually involved Voodoo place in the French Quarter, it is where you want/need/should go when your looking to actually learn about REAL Voodoo, both historically, through it's current practices, from genuinely involved practioners. If all you 'know' about it, is from a few 'spooky movies' and such'.. your WAY off. Anyone with an interest in unique culture, unique spiritualism, in a place that isn't just 'playing the part', but is a bona fide Voodoo Temple, as well as a shop carrying local handmade spirtual and artisticly crafted items, this is THE 'must check out' spot.

A very interesting place to visit while in New Orleans. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable and promote positivity. There's a wide selection of items. The value is reasonable especially due to it's authenticity

This was a cool store!! Our walking tour guide told us about it and how they are the real deal and sell interesting stuff like a love potion perfume, so we decided to visit the next day! It was super cool to visit! They have signs you can read about what each item is and I think altars for other things that people leave stuff for! I also saw the store on YouTube and TikTok and it was worth a visit! They have a lot of stuff their to choose from and I think they also do readings. The two lady's working were super nice too. It feels like the real deal there too!! We went to a different voodoo store after and the energy felt super different than this one. I'd recommend this store to those that are interested!!!

Great shop! There was so much in there! This is a great shop if you are looking to learn about voodoo, or if you want to practice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The items were also priced decently. There is even a website.

I visited this shop when I was in New Orleans recently. I usually go to New Orleans about once a year but this was my first time visiting this shop. I enjoyed looking at all the various items for sale. I was interested in a reading and signed up for one that day. My reading was with Raven. She was amazing. She brought up things I do not readily share with anyone about my family and growing up. My mother passed away about 9 months ago and Raven was aware of this and so many other details. The reading made me smile, laugh and brought me to tears. I enjoyed it so much that when it was over I asked Raven if I could give her a hug, which she agreed to. If you are able to visit this shop and have time for a reading you should give it a try.
