Great immersive and educational museum and observation deck. If you get the city pass, you can get a discount on their Bayou Breeze cocktail at their observation deck cafe. My family and I enjoyed this experience as it is interactive and very interesting. And the 360 view of New Orleans is beautiful.

I booked this 360 tour through Groupon which was a great deal. It came with two cocktails at the end. It was a very interactive immersive experience full of history and detail of the city from every aspect That hooked you in with a combination of technology, history and New Orleans charm. You have to schedule an appointment and there's no rescheduling due to weather. If you miss it or you're too early you have to wait like But not in the lobby. We waited in the hotel next door and it just happen to be storming that day. The customer service at the door at the time wasn't the friendliest This is during the day of running up the bulls and it was storming outside and she wouldn't allow us to wait indoors until our reservation which was in 20min on a light day,So we had to run through the rain to go to the hotel next door. Due to the rain we couldn't access the main top outdoor 360 experience which sucked but the cocktails that came with the experience At the bar upstairs helped. The bartender was friendly and we were able to sit down and relax a little bit before heading out. I'll say it's definitely worth checking out to anyone thinking about it and look on Groupon and on their website for a good deal That includes cocktails.

Thoughtful interactive museum that ends with a city view! This place was well-staffed and had cool exhibits throughout. The movement sensor activated screens were cool and I especially loved learning about Micaela Almonester, the female construction supervisor in the 19th century. There was also an interactive screen-based display that showed different restaurant demos. It was really helpful in educating us on the local cuisine. Lastly, in the museum portion, there was an interactive exhibit that allowed us to sample some of the different genres of music. Really, the downstairs museum was quite small, but there were some other museum-like displays in the upstairs portion too. I especially found one that explored the unique history of slavery and free black citizens particularly insightful. The view of the city is great. We were there on a rainy day, but still got to see some awesome views. Also, there's a small cafe at the top! Overall, I feel like there's some opportunity to build out the museum & display elements of this attraction. However, given that it is party of the all-inclusive City Pass. I'd say that it's worth the stop on your way over to the river boat cruise. Also, it isn't too far from the Sazarac. So, you could easily make it part of your tourist adventure. PS- the elevator to the top/bottom was 6/5 stars for me.

Nice little walk-through area that tells you about the history of N.O. took about 30 mins for the guided tour. After that your taken to the elevator for the observation deck where your left to explore on your own. The deck was nice. But ive had better experiences elsewhere. Was very windy on the top. So please keep that in mind with whatever your wearing or carrying.

Hours: Open Thurs-Sun, 10AM-6PM (last entry an hour before close) Address: 2 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 If you've ever wanted to see all of New Orleans in one panoramic swoop, Vue Orleans is the place. It's the city's only indoor & outdoor 360° observation deck, perched atop the Four Seasons Hotel (exhibits on the 33rd floor, the open-air deck on 34th). Before the elevator whisks you up, there's a short immersive theater experience, narrated by Grammy Award winner Irma Thomas, no less--that tells the story of New Orleans through animation and music. Even the elevator ride has its own cool immersive vibe. I wasn't expecting to like it so much, but it was actually awesome. Once at the top, you can see the Mississippi River winding by, the rooftops of the French Quarter, and the skyscrapers downtown. It's a postcard come to life. Inside, there are interactive exhibits like: Music Station - Celebrate the beats and legends of NOLA Story Café - Learn about the city's culture and history. Admission is $29.95, but luckily, it was included in our Go City Pass. Heads up: Scan your pass at the ticket kiosk before entering. Sometimes the outdoor deck closes due to weather. It was super windy that afternoon, so no rooftop breeze for us! Bonus: There's a Vue Orleans Café on the rooftop too, if you want a coffee or signature beer with a view. This spot was a happy surprise, just a 3-minute walk from where we got off the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen river cruise. We were planning to head straight to the French Quarter, but found Vue Orleans nearby and decided to check it out since it was covered by our pass. If I had to pay full price? Eh, maybe not a must-do--but included? Totally worth it.

Halloween birthday reservations here at Vue Orleans. Did you know that this building is the original World Trade Center of New Orleans??!! We were 15 minutes behind but our tour guide Leeana was amazing! Felt like family. She informed us we were a bit behind, but made us feel like we didn't miss a beat. She showed us each and every display item, gave us the history and knowledge to how to operate the screen films for ourselves. We watched a beautiful animated short 5 minute film of the history of New Orleans. The screen is 180 which makes you feel like you are part of the movie. Next we headed up to the top floors 33 & 34. Floor 33 was 360 of New Orleans history. And for 34 for our all inclusive VIP signature drink of choice. Which retails at $15. Hint: If you plan on drinking purchase the all inclusive tickets and you'll save $10 off your drink! Leeana also greeted us at the end of our experience

This was by far the highlight of our trip. The views are breathtaking and staff is the best. When you get to the bar at the top for your free drink -- get their Hurricane. I swear it's 10 times better than Pat O'Brien's.

We took our son here. I'm not sure he liked it being 26 years old . I still enjoyed the cafe. Still had problems with the interactive exhibits. I noticed most people didn't even bother with them. They just headed straight for the top. What I did enjoy was the elevator show. I never mentioned that last time! I do love the top view also. I didn't care for the photographer who catches you getting out of the elevator. Not cool Vue!! I see no reason to go again honestly.

We had a great time learning about the rich history of "The Big Easy!" We enjoyed the exhibits especially the interactive ones. It was so much fun. At the top we got to enjoy a signature cocktail. One thing we forgot to take any photos, bad Yelper! Bad Yelper!
