My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and visiting New Orleans for the first time. We went to Mr. B Bistro tried to celebrate our anniversary but had a horrible experience with under(raw) pork chops. We decided to try it again at Muriel's and the experience was night and day!

From the second we arrived the hostess congratulated us and walked us to our table. The restaurant is beautiful inside with the exposed bricks and breath taking decor. Our two servers Maria and Charlie were phenomenal! They were excellent and answered all our questions. They provided honest recommendations which we really appreciated, especially with our past experience at that other place. Charlie and Maria had an amazing personality and the food was delicious! Our pork chops were fully cooked and not cold in the center like it was at the other place.

We were able to celebrate our anniversary without a glitch and had the most delicious dinner service we've had since our arrival to New Orleans. Charlie and Maria, thank you for making our night memorable and we hope to have the privilege of seeing next time we visit!!

Muriel’s has now taken our all-time-favorite meal spot. The staff is unmatched. The dining room is stunning. And the dishes… words cannot describe the skill level and love of the kitchen staff. Utterly phenomenal. 6/5 stars - must recommend!

This might have been the best dinner at our stay in NOLA. We had a reservation but had been walking around Bourbon all day and they took us early, underdressed and we were not judged one bit for it. Our drink waitress was so sweet…the cocktails and mocktails are excellent. The highlight was the grits, so much flavor and an absolute perfect texture. The pork chop is huge, satisfying and I would come here again in a heartbeat. Go upstairs after dinner! You won’t regret it.

This was our last meal before leaving New Orleans and it had been recommended that we try it! Cake in and got seated, a nice guy named Jayson got our drinks rolling. We got our drinks and it seemed someone else would be taking our order. After waiting for a while a waitress came out with no personality and didn’t seem to have interest in answering any questions. When she brought the bread out she set it down and dropped the butter with the butter side down the table and acted as if nothing happened and just put the dirty butter back in the basket holder. We were shocked at this to start with and my girlfriend asked a question and got a snarky response. Jayson kept our waters full and any service provided by her was lacking. The food was good, only issues were that my pork chop wasn’t hot but was good and cheese wasn’t out in our omelette, it was good otherwise. It’s neat they have music here too to enjoy while dining!

A huge thank you to everyone at Muriel’s! This was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for! The food was absolutely delicious all the way around. I dined with 3 others and we tried a little of each others and every dish was as wonderful as the next. I started with the Wedge Salad and the dressing was delicious (lots of blue cheese). Their Pork chop was perfection, the Chicken was moist and tender and well seasoned….. and the desserts… well, I could go back just for that. The Bread Pudding was off the charts as was the Chocolate Tart and Cheesecake.
I will definitely be returning.

Det fanns ingen drink Service eller food Service på balkongen - - vilket var synd. . det skulle ha varit pricken över i:et. Vi åt middag med ett par som hade varit här förut och förmodligen brukade de äta middag på balkongen. Förhoppningsvis gör det comeback. Under tiden kommer vi definitivt komma tillbaka till Muriels för mat, dryck och upplevelse överlag. BRYAN vår server var SUPER!

Vi kände maten var genomsnittlig. Läget är bra mycket nära Jackson Square. Servicen var lyhörd men vi kände oss lite stressade

Härlig middag med familjen på en söndag kväll. Vi var varmt välkomna. Maten var på punkt och Servicen var vänlig. Stämningen är bra och vi tyckte att personalen var mycket tillmötesgående.

En riktigt trevlig upplevelse för min 64-årsdag och sista dagen på vår semester. Alla tre av oss njöt av våra förrätter - vilda svamp omelett, anka och korv hash, och croque monsieur. Inredningen är elegant, servicen var utmärkt, läge perfekt för vår korta promenad genom området, och jazz och personlig födelsedag hälsning toppade IT allt.

Hemsk upplevelse. Vi hade vänner utanför stan och ville bjuda dem på middag. En i vårt sällskap hade en krage, knapp - dunlinneskjorta utan ärmar. Han blev ombedd att ta på sig en skjorta som kunde ha burits av 10 personer tidigare. 

Restaurangen var bokstavligen full av gäster med linnen eller spagetti axelbandsklänningar; men återigen, gästen i vårt sällskap som ombads att sätta på den fulaste skjortan som du kan hitta var INTE i ett linne eller något liknande. 

Jag har inget emot regler, men varken OpenTable eller Muriels hemsida nämnde denna begränsning. 

Och denna typ av dubbel - standard är en besvikelse.

Vi hade en livlig middag vår första kväll i New Orleans. Utsökt mat och vänlig Service. Platsen var en C plats för oss.

Vi är inte säkra på vem alla rekommenderar denna plats eftersom maten var inte bra. Det läskigaste med det här stället var notan. Skandalöst pris för dålig mat och dålig service.

Både min syster och jag valde Table d’Hôte-menyn till middag. Pastaförrätten var utsökt, medan gumbon var helt okej. Till våra varmrätter var trumfisken utmärkt, och räkorna och grynen var mycket goda. Desserterna stod verkligen ut — helt enastående. Tyvärr blev upplevelsen besviken av vår server, som var ouppmärksam under hela måltiden. De checkade inte in på oss, fräschade upp våra drinkar eller bidrog till den övergripande matstämningen. Det kändes mer som en snabbmatsupplevelse när det gäller service, därför ger jag en stjärna mindre.

Fantastisk mat. Bra läge och trevlig inredning. Grynen är det bästa jag har ätit. Vi fick restaurangen rekommendera, och nu förstår jag varför. Jag åker tillbaka nästa gång jag är i New Orleans.
