I ordered the fried shrimp plate with french fries and a salad. The shrimp and french fries were fried to a crispy golden perfection. The shrimp we're also very tasty. Service was great. Also definitely a hidden gem nestled in Westwego.

In town for a conference, had seen this place on Kitchen Nightmares so tried it out. We self seated and had to wait a bit as only one waitress for the whole restaurant but she was so friendly and welcoming. Food tasted good, and looking around, most of the food is fried. We split 3 appetizers and that was enough food but could see this was a definite favorite location for locals. Worth trying out. Would stop by again and try other selections on the menu.

We visited this restaurant after watching Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares Super Bowl... The staff was so nice and service great. We didn't want to order too much food, so we shared onion rings, fried chicken with a side of jambalaya and sweet potato fries. The onion rings were so good, and the fried chicken was outstanding. The restaurant was busy with the lunch crowd. If we lived closer to Westwego, we would be regulars, as it's always good to support local.

We stopped in last night (Saturday) after driving 9 hours from Tennessee. My husband is in a power wheelchair and we were leary about going to the new location because of the lack of space he needs to maneuver. The waitress was very accommodating as I told her my concern. She said they would be glad to accommodate our needs anytime. There were about five tables full of people. We ordered a seafood gumbo and the seafood platter to share. The food was hot and fresh and the portion size was large. We even had some to take home. We will definitely be back.

Saw this restaurant on Gordon Ramsey's show and decided to give it a try. Wanted to support a family business trying to make it in tough times. The food and service are all top notch. The dining room could use some work to make it more comfy. My only real concern was the outside of the building didn't appear inviting in the least. You definitely have to have an open mind when you drive up. Once you get past that and see the inside you have to tell yourself that it's a meal you ate here for and not the packing decor. Give it a try and you will be happy you did.

Had dinner there tonight and as usual the food and service was exceptional! The food here is always cooked to perfection and very tasty ! There was a homeless man hanging around the restaurant and the owner ran him off. We have always enjoyed dining with these folks. Have been away for a while and after dining there again we were not disappointed. Superb food for a fair price! Keep up the great job VoLeos!! And I missed my Westego's smallest waitress Ms. Lilly. Thank you for being one of the best restaurants on the westbank.
