Great food and fast service! They always tell you, online and over the phone, how long the wait will be. It's always accurate and can range from 15 to 45 minutes in my experience, based on the size of the order and how busy they are. The food is always delicious and consistent! The only thing to note is that the quantities vary between items and don't always seem to match prices exactly. When ordering for several people, or ordering dishes I haven't gotten before, it's a bit unknown if it will be more than enough or not (especially regarding appetizers). I think this has gotten better since when I first started going there though, but it could be because I know the menu better. We go here on occasion since they opened and have ordered takeout for just two of us, or up to 10 of us, and everyone always enjoys their meals. Favorites are definitely the Massaman curry (I don't get it other places now since they have the best). I like it with either veggies or chicken the best. It's a very creamy, thick sauce, with lots of cashews, potatoes, onions, and topped with crisp onions. Delicious and filling! I always have enough for two meals from one order. Their fried rice options are also favorites of our household. I enjoy the sweet chili fried rice (best with shrimp in my opinion). The house fried rice is also a big hit, especially for those who like a mixture chicken, beef, & shrimp. It's also very easy to make customizations like eliminating pineapple or peppers or whatever to meet your taste. Their in-store market is also a great find. They have lots of snacks and cooking supplies that you can't find anywhere else in the area. Over the holidays, I picked up some interesting snacks for stocking stuffers, so it's a great place to grab a unique gift or snack.

seriously the best thai food in maine! i was so sad when they closed sweet chili's a few years ago, but this new location is very impressive! the same friendly staff and an extremely clean kitchen. i was pleasantly surprised by their new international market with quite a large array of items! my favorite dish is the sweet chili chicken, absolutely delicious! i would love to see the kung pao chicken back, it was the best! their fresh rolls and pork dumplings are also great. overall, impressed as always and would highly recommend this place! the only con is when i'm craving pinto but realize it's a sunday and they're closed :(

I came here for take out; spicy basil with chicken, two won ton soups, an order of crab rangoon, and an order of chicken with peanut sauce. My wife says the food has flavor, but I disagree in that my spicy basil was laden with bell pepper and onions, and chicken. It didn't have much flavor to me and surely was far from anything spicy. The crab rangoon was "not bad but not great." The won ton soups were actually delicious and I would definitely get those again, maybe even a larger order size soup. The crispy chicken with peanut sauce- the chicken tasted like it was pre made/frozen. Not quite chicken patty but similar. The sauce wasn't that great either- I expected it to be a little sweet but it wasn't. The business itself though is quite nice, and it is run by some really kind people. I would hope that things get better if I go back, in the future.

Pinto Thai was suggested to me many months ago and (we) finally (!!) had a night to try the restaurant. It was literally a movie kind of dark and rainy night; the customer leaving said it was a perfect night (for red curry). My first impression was: awesome- the entrance is very welcoming, the staff very accommodating , and a quick glimpse into the kitchen when my order was coming out; very clean and well organized. The meal was delicious! Appetizers (Crab Rangoon and Spring Rolls) were excellent: light and perfectly done; both main dishes... delicious! We both are looking forward to our next visit where it won't be raining and we can sit at a picnic table and have another great meal!

Simply the best authentic Thai food in Central Maine!! I get takeout from here frequently and have never had a disappointing dining experience. They use the best and freshest ingredients and the spice levels are on point. This place is not to be missed if you are in the Augusta area. The food is next level!!

This was opening day and what a beautiful restaurant they have. The market will be opening soon with lots of goodies to pick up besides your lunch. I grabbed my favorite param long song spicy with chicken and it was absolutely perfect. I also got a side salad with their peanut salad dressing and it was also perfect. The Tom kha soup is outstanding. It is one of my favorites. These are the former owners of the sweet chili Thai restaurant in Augusta that was by the airport and they have made a takeout place which does have counters that you can sit and watch out the windows if you want to eat there. They do not have tableservice but that's perfectly fine with me! Check out their desserts including an amazing looking cheesecake!

It pains me to write this review because I had such high hopes after reading what everyone else had to say. Thai food is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE cuisine ever so when I found this place I was so excited. We ordered a green curry, pad-see-ew, Drunken noodles, crab Rangoons and fried rolls. Nothing really tasted like anything tbh. It was all pretty much one flat note. We ordered the Pad-See-ew without spice... so it literally tasted like nothing. The drunken noodles were bone dry and sticky, ordered with 3 star spice. It literally tasted like spicy nothing. No flavor, just a little heat. A mild heat for 3 stars. The dipping sauce that came with the rolls was delicious, but the rolls themselves fit the theme: zero flavor at all. The green curry tasted like a mild green curry but was severely missing that comforting umami flavor one tends to look for in a curry. Bland. The Rangoons were actually perfect for me, as I don't like crab and these had no trace or crab flavor. So for $75, we got some very good cream cheese Rangoons, flavorful dipping sauces, and about 5lbs of unflavored flat rice noodles, and some green milk.
