Cool spot! Only stopped in for an hour around happy hour on a Friday. Missed the live music unfortunately since I had to run, but had some very tasty pina coladas and chicken street tacos, yummy 😋! Recommend for sure. I’ll be back the next time we are back in NYC.

This is a really cool venue with live 🎶 music. We happened in while waiting for a show at Blue Note and we're blown away by Harlem Gospel Travelers. Definitely a little tight seating like many places in thee Village.

Whenever I'm in NYC, a visit to Groove is a must. Greenwich Village, once a vibrant hub for live music, has seen many of its legendary clubs fade into history. However, Groove remains, proudly upholding the rich musical tradition that has defined this iconic neighborhood for decades.

Fabulous little music venue in the Village. We very much enjoyed Wayne Tucker & The Bad Motha's. The food was great too. I had Margherita pizza and my wife had salmon and fries. Great deals during happy hour. Friendly service. On another night we also enjoyed the Irish singer Grainne Duffy and her band. And Shayna Blass was great too.

The Groove är en restaurang R & be, Soul and Funk Music club, No Rock Music. De serverar mat, främst komfortmat, menyn är inte stor. Va här med frugan på en söndag när det var black soul musik och det var fantastisk. God mat också prova gärna Buffalo wings och en hamburgare. Bandet som spelade var fantastiska och gjorde värsta showen med låtar från James Brown och liknande artister. Definitivt ett ställe som jag kommer komma tillbaka till igen. Inträde den kvällen var gratis så va reda att kanske få betala en slant för att komma in.

Fallade här eftersom komediekällaren var såld och var så glad att vi hittade den här pärlan. Kom inte hit för den kulinariska upplevelsen, men för den välkomna och vänliga luften. Och för de fantastiska spelningarna. Spridningar mellan jazz, funk och reggae. Se till att du inte missar!

Vi gick till Groove eftersom vi inte ville vänta med att komma in på Blue Note och hade en bra tid. Black Soul Expression spelade - fantastiska omslag av Earth Wind and Fire. Prins gick dit för att se dem tre veckor innan han dog. Tjänsten var bra, publiken var vänlig och det fanns ingen omslag.

Jag har varit här flera gånger genom åren, men hade inte varit på ett tag. Gick efter arbete med några vänner under happy hour den 7/13/18 för drycker och aptitretare. De har ändrat aptitretare menyn och det finns inte mycket val. Musiken som spelades var inte Funk, Soul eller R & be. Frågade servitrisen skulle de byta musik och hon svarade nej. Dryckerna var bra. Vi hade planer på att kolla bandet som kom, men stannade inte länge på grund av musiken. Kanske de band som kommer att spela är Funk, Soul och R & be, men hur är det med den efterarbetade Happy Hour-musiken? Vi lämnade och gick ner på gatan. . .

Anlände precis som första handlingen var att avsluta och satt på mycket baksidan av platsen. Laddat $ 10 täckning som verkade rimligt. Hade redan ätit någon annanstans så vi beställde en drink och väntade på nästa grupp att börja (inget speciellt och pris om vad du förväntar dig). Det var uppenbart att artisterna var lokala och skapade en bra atmosfär och vi tyckte om de första låtarna. Men det gick nedförsbacke därifrån. Gruppen tillbringade de närmaste 25 minuterna som krävde publiken för pengar medan de spelade Prince-låtar. Konstigaste, på en punkt sjöng de några barer och skickade sedan blysanger runt med en hatt. Kunde ha varit en ovanlig natt men jag tror att det finns andra platser du kanske vill kolla in.

Bra jazzställe. Ofta inget inträde och är om det är kvällar med inträde ofta inte mer än 5 dollar.
Lite dyra drinkar och något oengagerad personal.
Har aldrig testat att äta här men prisnivån ser ok ut och den mat som serverad ser bra ut och väl tilltagna portioner. Gillar du musik, gå hit!

Vad kan jag säga, men bra underhållning. Den svarta Själ upplevelse är en kvava band som kan ge dig nästan varje typ av musik. Den Groove sig själv behöver renovering så det är mycket små och trånga och badrummen behöver renovering. Du betalar ca $ 10 till få i och har en två plagg minimum. Den drycker är OK, den mat. . . Ummmm nachos äckliga, ägg, wings rullar små tycks vara den bästa. Att bandet sig är fantastisk! Det enda jag inte gillade är att de gingo omkring med den kyrkan hink tre gånger prostitution erbjudanden. . . Sedan igen jag antar att det är en av deras liv. Tracy Nicole (kvinnlig artist) är den bomben. . . Skrika ut till henne! ! ! Vi tog en Lyft dit från Times Square var inte så illa!

The music gör stället - - - maten är bar - rum mat, därför inte förvänta er något märkvärdigt, men jag brydde inte åka dit för en kulinarisk upplevelse - - - jag åkte till höra kubanskajazz och var mycket glad!

Jag ser en tidigare kommentar om de väntar personal och ja, det är förmodligen sant men kommer aldrig låta att skämma bort en fantastisk kväll. När vi är nästa i NYC, det här kommer att bli den första plats för underhållning vi kommer att besöka,

Vi var där i kväll och vanligtvis har en bra tid men den barmaid (öre) var inte trevligt alls. Synd eftersom musiken var bra. Den atmosfär var coolt men inte den barmaid. Först av allt vi väntade en riktigt lång tid att bli serverade. Vi hade ett runt vad var 2 longdrinks. Andra runda 2 långa drycker och 2 bilder och plötsligt var priset mer än dubbelt. Vi bara hade nog kontanter så vi kunde inte ge dricks här i kontanter men vi var inte redo att åka hem så vi vill av dricks här på den-kort om hon vill inte av varit så oförskämd. Hon inte gav oss chansen att tips innan hon gav oss ett svar att vi måste ge dricks! !
Ändå under tiden vi drack och plötsligt hon tog bort hälften av mina shot. Inte ok men inte säga något och sedan en lite senare hon gör det samma med den longdrink innan jag kunde avsluta det. Inte gjort! ! !

Vi var åtta personer dom kom och hade turen att få ett bord ganska nära scenen. Ett litet band med löjligt bra musiker spelade och de två som turades om att gå upp att sjunga var löjligt bra. Plötsligt går det upp en kille och river av två låtar på munspel. Hit skall jag gå igen. 

Vi åkte dit med vänner på en måndag kväll och det var fullsatt! ! Bra ställe för att lyssna till en lucka band, bra drycker och en komplett bar har great fun ! !
