I can't believe I never knew this place was here! Amazing Israeli food. I had the sabich platter and the eggplant was so tender it was falling apart. Served with all the standard sides - fluffy pita, creamy hummus, light cabbage slaw, sumac onions, and of course Israeli salad and pickles.

It's a little hard to find. Once you enter from 50th you need to go downstairs and towards the back right corner of the building.

For those who are wondering, it is kosher style, but not kosher. Many, many vegetarian options, though.

Great food! Walked in at prime lunch time, as someone else noted, it’s in the 805 3rd ave building, take the escalator down and you’ll see it right next to Hokey Pokey. Platter is a generous amount of food. I ordered the sabich which came with hummus, pita, Israeli salad. Everything was delicious, warm, fresh. The server was friendly, quick and efficient. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Highly recommend for good Israeli food !

Absolutely love this place for lunch! HUGE portions, fresh ingredients, friendly staff. The chicken shawarma platter is great and the green sauce and mango chutney compliment it so well!

I was here with Mealpal and found the food was amazing! It’s Sabih Platter, literally the best eggplant I’ve ever had. Hummus is very smooth. And it’s in good amount I love it!
