One downside was the service—we ended up waiting around 30 minutes for tardy guests, which made the meal feel drawn-out and a bit disjointed. It was an unexpected surprise that Mr. Moto was so detail oriented from the beginning of the experience to the end. I loved how involved my friend and I got while exploring the space and all of its nooks.

The food was absolutely phenomenal and really stood out amongst all of my omakase experiences in NYC. The fish was super fresh and I loved their dessert at the end. I would highly recommend coming here for a special occasion- they really take care of you!

While we couldn’t touch most of the artifacts, there was one interactive piece that revealed a delightful surprise. Their staffs are very professional and attentive explaining each course in depth. Don’t forget to ask for sake pairings and different sakes available for the best experience. Food and ingredients are as fresh and delicious as it can get with beautiful aesthetics. We received a business card with a cipher on the back at the end of our meal. Solve it and gain special access to Mr. Moto's concierge via their website! After the meal, we were invited to relax in The Library with comfy leather sofas and a self-playing Yamaha piano with details Prohibition-era for Japanese whisky.
