Louis checked my friend and I in for our three-night stay. He was incredibly accommodating, and proactive. He told us to call down to the desk if there were issues and he ended up calling us to make sure the room was alright. lol. The bed and pillows are comfy and there is plenty of parking. We are here for a conference at the Academy, so the short drive is awesome. I will say the second floor is inaccessible for guests in wheelchairs. There is no elevator. Be sure to mention, if you are wheelchair-bound, that you will need a wheelchair accessible, ADA-compliant room.

I got sent to Annapolis on orders. I was searching through DTS for a place to stay within the allotted cost. The only two options for the dates I required were Holiday Inn and Double Tree. Because they Navy Lodge didn't have availability for the dates I required, I stayed at a nearby Holiday Inn. About 2 days later I was advised that I'd need a certificate of non availability if I wasn't staying on base (even though DTS was well aware that Navy Lodge had no availability). No problem, I'll just call Navy Lodge and sort it out. They acknowledge that DTS showed them as being unavailable and agreed to email me a CNA within the hour. 5 hours later still no CNA. So I called back. A woman stated that now they DO have availability and she's refusing to give me the CNA...basically leaving me on the hook to pay for the hotel for the first night. But it gets better. The several hours I was waiting for the CNA they promised but never sent, I missed the checkout time for Holiday Inn. So now Holiday Inn has charged me to stay for a 2nd night, which I also have to pay for out of pocket after Navy Lodge deceived me about the CNA. Aside from the staff costing me almost $200 for what DTS is going to consider non-reimbursable lodging, there's no amenities here. No gym, no pool, not even an elevator for large luggage. I rushed out of a hotel that was $11 cheaper to move into a place that doesn't even have hot breakfast. Stay here if you please, but so far I'm pretty disappointed. Also, cell service on and around the base is subpar at best. So you have to rely on their wifi that only works after agreeing to the terms every single time. Room is clean though.

Retired Navy so our first choice is usually militay The only room available was a family suite. We need pet friendly cuz the dog was traveling with us (extra $30). Everything was great, good location, friendly service. Not sure why they charge extra for the dog, but at least they allow dogs

The room was nice. We have a cat and the policy is to provide shot records for pets. Well, we are in the middle of a cross-country move and those records were packed up. Staff said it was fine and to come anyway. After our first night, they locked us out of our room to get us to come to the front desk and the supervisor was very mean and demanded the shot records. I tried to explain and he wouldn't hear me out. So he let us back in the room and after speaking with my husband said he'd let it slide. Whole experience made our stay stressful and unpleasant. Again, the rooms were nice the only unpleasant thing was that rude front desk supervisor.

The beds and pillows here are really comfortable. I love that it is located right next to the exchange, commissary, and gas station. Plus it's a short drive to the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis. Very clean and quiet with a small kitchenette.

Definitely sweet. I love Navy Lodges, they are always so much nicer than Air Force and Army billeting. They seem like a real hotel. And the price is right, especially considering the area. Only minus is that it is way the heck in BFE and you can't practicably walk into Annapolis from here.

Don't think there is much to add that hasn't already been said in the previous 2 reviews. Good free coffee 24/7. Bagels, cream cheese, OJ, and free paper in the morning. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Lots of open grass to run (for the dog). Small playground for the kids. BBQ's. Laundry room only $1 per load. Vending machines on the pricey side, but commissary and redbox are a walk across the street. You can also rent movies for the night (dvd in rooms), for a little over $2/movie- though the selection is a little outdated.

I really liked staying here. Friendly staff, nice big spacious rooms.... and of course the price! $74 for 2 queen size beds and a full kitchen! You bet thats awesome. Especially with the commissary across the street.

We stayed here after our flight from Dover was cancelled. It was the best deal in town and we wanted to stay in Annapolis to see the Naval Academy. The location is perfect--just off the main road, right next tot he Exchange and very close to an amazing fitness center and outdoor rec department. They were all booked until I told them I was on PCS orders. Magically, they found a room. While we were there, we saw no indication of pets in our room previously, but there were probably as many dogs there as people. So, if you are allergic to dogs, I would consider what it may do to you if you stay in a room that was occupied by a dog or cat recently. Each room is equipped with a small kitchenette (pots, pans, refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave(. You can't go wrong with that.
